Thank you for all the replies!

Basically what everyone is saying is, just do what tastes good and forget the 'guidelines'

Guidelines are good. :D When in doubt, start low and adjust up. NOT the other way around. ;)

When you really boil it down to the core, if it pops the coil it pops the coil... lesson learnt.

Dont know why I was so worried about it tbh... the coils are cheap as chips so if I pop 1 or 2.... its not big deal.

Not a big deal--but it's not a pleasant experience. :p

I tried going a little higher on my hypertank, went from my usual 3.6 up to 4.2
As soon as I hit 4.0 it tasted wrong so I think 3.6 is about as high as I can go with the way its setup atm.

Much love, thanks again!

Now you're talking. A 1.8Ω coil on 3.6v will give you 7.2 watts. That just might be your sweet spot. And it's also what Kanger recommends.

Guidelines are not so bad, after all. :D

Good luck and happy vaping!
