Help with safety with this battery

Hey guys when I was visiting family my dad noticed that my mech uses 18650's and gave me a handful of new 18650's he had purchased for use with his tactical flashlights...

The batteries are tenergy 18650 2200 mah with pcb... In all my searches all I can find about Max safe discharge is "1Ca", what does this mean? Are these safe in a mech at .2ohms? All my other batteries are either 30A or 35A...

Don't want to blow my face off but can't find their max amp rating

Absolutely not safe. I looked them up myself, seems they are .5c with a max discharge of 1c, so they max out at 2.2 amps, 1 or 1.5 on a continuous basis.

I don't know for certain, but I don't THINK those are "high drain" - the "pcb" I suspect makes them protected, and not suitable. They may even be too big to fit in some mods! I'd at least wait for someone with more certain info...

This ^^^. And this also means they use ICR chemistry which are the batteries that explode when abused when the PCB malfunctions. IMO these are not worth the risk of vaping in any mod.

BTW - With your .2 ohm Build and a Freshly Charged battery (4.2 Volts) in your Mech Mod, your Asking your Battery to provide about 21 Amps.

Battery mAh & C Rating = amp Calculator

If you put those Batteries that your Dad gave you in your Mech Mod and push the button, the PCB Board on the Battery Should go "Poof" and then release the Magic Smoke.

If, for some Reason, the PCB doesn't release the Magic Smoke, then the Battery could go "BANG". And turn you Mech Mod into a Hand Held Pipe Bomb.
