I just got a Vamo and according to the charts, I am defying Ohms Law…and since I am a law abiding citizen, I don't want to do there. The most workable spot seems to be about 3.0 V, 3.0 W, using a coil that reads at 2.3 and a pro tank or comparable. According the the charts, it shouldn't work, but I get pretty good vapor production and if I turn it up it has a burnt taste. Why is that?

It may be from the juice you're using, the flavoring is more temperature sensitive. It may be the coil, topper you're using, if it has long legs from the connector to the coil, it increases the ohms but the coil gets more heat.

With VV / VW the best way is to adjust for best taste, don't worry about the numbers. When you find what tastes good, just remember what the numbers are so you can do the same later...:)

Not sure if you are aware but you can set V or W, not both. Ive not owned a vamo but typically which ever setting you adjust last is what you're using. It's like taking different streets from your house to your job. If you knew this already my apologies, I just remember not knowing that when I got my mvp2. As to the burnt taste it could be your pro tank/ coil. Higher V or W means hotter coils, means more vapor, meaning less juice on your wick. Just a theory.
