Help with Xtar WP2 Battery charger

Just got this charger along with my provari the other day and had a question about a feature on the charger. I have attached a pic so you can see what im talking about. The switch next to the USB port, with the 3 settings (1A 0.5A 0) What is it for and what should I have it set at? I have an 18490 battery btw but I dont know if that has anything to do with where the switch needs to be set at

Good question. I assume those numbers are referring to the amps, but I have no idea which one you should set it to. I'm sure someone on this forum will know. If not, contact Provape.

You charge batteries at a rate of either 0.5 A or 1 A. Charging at 1 A will be 2 times as fast as charging at 0.5. Ain't that cool?

Dont have this charger, but yes, its a selectable amperage for charging. 1A will of course charge your batteries faster than .5A, however, some say battery life may be somewhat extended if charged at lower amps. For small batteries I would use the .5A setting. The 0 setting is turning the charger off.

The 1.0A and 0.5A are amp outputs as everyone has said. The '0' turns your charger into a 500 ma USB port when you put a battery into the right slot. I just plugged a Twist into mine and it works . Neat eh?!!?
