so im thinking of buying a riva 510 but not sure which one to get they have a 510 lite kit and a 510 special edition not sure the differance. I was thinking can you use the riva 510 with cartomizers and if so does that mean you dont need attys i would think so but if thats not the case then with the attys i guess you would use a cart that does not have a atty then you would have to prime and keep cleaning the atty when changing juices or can you use use cartomizers and just change from one juice to the next. I think i have read to much and now im confused lol not real sure what i need to buy with it. I have bloog now and have been using this for a year also i have juice so got that covered. I was thinking about a ego but heard alot of bad things now thinking the riva so help me out what do i need to buy and what works best thanks:facepalm:

I got the "Riva Lite" kite almost 4 months ago at LF...it got me off analogs for good. Awesome kit, awesome battery life, and very reliable. The standard atty's it comes with are great for dripping. I've tried a few other brand-name atty's, but I find that the standard ones work just as well, if not better. I also use BogeLR cartomizers with it, as well as dual-coil cartomizers. The special edition is just cosmetic, I believe. The Riva is a true 3.7v device, at 750mah. Also, great customer service from LF, and fast-shipping always. To answer your question, I would get the RivaLite kit, and some BogeLR 2.0 cartomizers with it. It's difficult to change flavors with cartomizers, but atty's are great for that and very easy to maintain. Good luck.

I have tried almost every type of carto out there, and the two best one's for the Riva are the Boge2.0's, and the dual-coils. I haven't tried the 2.0 dual-coil, but the 1.5 works great. I would give the edge to the dual-coils, as they burn a bit hotter, and simulate 5volt vaping with the Riva. However, they burn through your juice quicker than a single Boge2.0, for example. I haven't seen anyone claiming the ego's are better or worse. They are similar, but the Riva is a true 750mah device, at 3.7volts. Most (basic) ego's are 650mah. You could spend more and order a higher mah ego or riva, but that just depends on how much battery time you want, they'll still be 3.7v, which has been fine with every ejuice I've had. I typically get 5 to 6 hours on one charge with somewhat heavy vaping. I've also noticed that I really like the button better on the Riva. I have a Tornado(ego) from totally-wicked, and although it looks good (red), it is a bit weaker than the Riva is. Oh, the atty's on the Rivalite kit are excellent too, one lasted me almost a month, and worked great. I ordered a LRBoge atty from a different vendor, and it's not performing as well as the standard Riva atty. Hope this helps, good luck.

thanks i am now waiting the 8hr's for my 510 riva se to charge so i can try all these cartos

You don't have to wait that 8 hours... that's a hold-over from old battery technology that every supplier seems to put in their manuals... it's not true with Lithium Ion (The type of battery the Riva is)

Soon as it's charged, it's ready for use. If you don't believe me check the sticky in the battery subforum about common myths about lithium ion batteries..they have no memory effect, thus you don't need the initial over-long charge cycle.

good job on the Riva SE kit...thats what I just got and I LOVE it.... also... my bateries came with charge already, so I started on one imediately while the other was charging on the USB.... I also went with the Boge 2.0 cartos and they have been good for me thus far, but I cant compare them to anything as this is the first carto I have used
