My provari got wet :( any suggestions. It's not working now how long should I leave it set before contacting them about fixing it? it didn't get soaking wet just a little water ran over it but you can see on the LED screen some tiny drops of water and it's throwing 2 codes at me now. E2 and E7 I looked them up one says replace the carto/atty (did that) the other says if it persists contact them.

Thanks for any help offered.

Stick it in a tupperware or sealable container filled with rice and let it sit for at least 24 hours. If you have an air compressor or a can of compressed air like mentioned you can blow it out first. Just don't keep the battery in it and don't try and use it until you get it in that container of rice for at least 24 hours.

Oh wow..

Partially fill the body with alcohol, and swirl it around?!

Thats interesting, to say the least. I never would have even attempted something like that.. But if they say thats okay, then.. Well.. Good info to know..

Thanks for posting that link!

Isopropyl alcohol is an approved solvent for cleaning printed circuit boards. It's nonconductive, and it's hygroscopic (soaks up water and carries it away), but it does leave a white, powdery residue. My personal preference is for ethanol - the same kind of alcohol that's in vodka - because it doesn't leave the residue, but you'd need to use Everclear or something else that's nearly pure ethyl alcohol to use it on circuitry. My company buys 100% pure ethanol, but you can't buy that at your local store. Everclear is as close as you can get.
