I would just like to say that if you don't know what else to send, then just send a letter with some kind words (don't go overboard). It really sux when it's time for mail call and you don't get anything. Sometimes it's the one thing that keeps you going. One of the hardest things about being in combat is that the world goes on without you. You know that everyone else is home doing all the things you wish you could and you are stuck there feeling forgoten. I have never seen a joe that was unhappy to get mail. Well unless it's a dear John letter, or heaven forbid video!

Pm, me and let me know if there is anything that he could use that is not e-cig related.

Beleave it or not hes a softy! He would LOVE a vid or letter! :) I think that would make his day!

When you pack the box to send, buy a bag of hard candies and use them to fill all the empty spaces in the box, they work like packing peanuts, and your brother can eat the packing instead of creating more trash.

Yes, i Did the adopt a military member a few years back for x-mas, was fun & they told us to do the same thing! i stuffed so much candy/sugar packs/socks and gum in there that I bet it was like a can of worms lol....:)

I will also be making cookies to send to my brother!!! He LOVES my no bake cookies & so do his buddies, I had to make 3 cans last time, one for him, one for his sgt and one for his buddies...lol...

Having had 3 sons in the army recently I know full well how tough it is for them. If my son in Iraq decides to go the ecig route I will be doing the same thing. In the meantime count me in for some juice, a couple of 510 Atty's and some cartridges.

I am very happy to see this rolling along like it should be, no justification necessary for me ))

I send out packages from time to time through AnySoldier.com , so would love to donate to your brother. Thanks for the link....I bookmarked it, and intend to use it.

+1! AnySoldier.com is a fantastic site and i've sent all my care packages through them. it gets hard to pick who to send your package out to though...i wish i could send something to all of them!

Vap3rLov3r - i would love to donate some supplies! i've got some pre-filled carts, pre-filled cartos, juice and filler material that i'd like to send. i'll be sure to PM you later today after i do a run-through of my inventory.

Vap3rlov3r, and Jules.....

Now this is what I am talking about! I know most of you know that I am an International Flight Attendant for a living, but what only a very few of you know is that my main customer is the AMC (Air Mobility Command) Our airline takes US servicemen and women to their deployments overseas. We transport all branches of the military.

I cant tell you how many times I have just handed over one of my ecigs and bottles of juice to a soldier in awe when he sees me vaping onboard, or at a fuel stop somewhere... I was always suprised at the ratio of smokers vs non smokers in the military...

Vap3r.... I will be shooting you a PM later on today. I just need to go through my arsenal and find out what I can donate.

A big thank you from all the crew at RIA for your efforts, and of course to our soldiers.

Muttsrt paid for the bottle of juice, to offer it up on the contest. Dont let him fool you into thinking its entirely my fault.

I mean, he started it. :D

Thanks Muttsrt!

I'd like to add another soldier that is on these forums. His post can be found here.

Somebody sent him a mod, and my daughter and I sent him a package with juices and she made him a bunch of little cards :sniff:

I PM'd him and if I hear back, I'll let y'all know. He may need a little support too.

i remember this guy! leannebug, that was so sweet of you and your daughter.:thumbs:

i used to manage a sports bar, and had set out a coloring station for kids to make cards for AnySoldier.com. the best packages i sent were the ones stuffed with those cards, and the people who received them loved it more than any of the other stuff we sent them. it was awesome!

i hope you hear back from him! i'd love to donate some juice or whatever else he may want/need.

My daughter was so cute! When she heard what i was doing (she's a nosy lil bugger!) she marched herself off to the art room and made a bunch of cards.
It took me a little while to get the package off. I kept filling little sample bottles and tossing them in a box. finally had enough to send it to him (and the money to ship it! haha) a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping he's gotten it by now.... and that he's enjoying vaping!
If/when i hear from him, I'll definatley post and/or let you know!

It's so hard to think of people over there, far away from family. I love that our country has changed it's thinking, and now most everyone SUPPORTS our troops, whether they believe in the cause or not. That's so important!
