I'm relatively new to vaping, but like anything I tackle it with research. As a writer that's the first thing I do. I've been a smoker for over 14 years. My darling man decided, being budget conscious as he is, that switching to vaping might be a good idea. I trusted his idea and let him do the "research" and purchase. A local liquid dealer sells kits at his shop. So my DM comes home with a small batteried e-cig kit with atomizers with carts in them. I did what he told me to do with it. Had a relatively decent experience, even with the not so great PV. The Juice from Vermont Vapor is pretty good, I went through 4 20ml bottles. I quit smoking regular cigarettes for six months. Then battery problems started, needed new atomizers, getting out to the shop was a hassle...fell off the vaping wagon.

I wanted to go back to vaping, but I was unsatisfied with the product I initially tried. So I did two weeks worth of intense study on all things Vaping related. I watched about 50 hours worth of you tube videos, decided who I could tolerate reviews from on you tube, and read posted reviews on sites.

I'm just impatiently waiting for my orders to arrive. They'll be coming in piece by piece all week. My units should be in Wed. I'm excited to start experimenting with flavors and mixing and testing out the products to see what works for me.

So yeah, that's me. I write horror fiction. I'm a chick and a nerd. I believe in only one thing, that everything is better with Bacon.

Welcome to the Forum, and back on the wagon. Once you find your ideal setup vaping is a very rewarding activity. Hugely better than an analog experience.
Being a bacon connoisseur, I too believe everything is better with bacon. Except ejuice. Do not try bacon flavored juice. it is not a good time. just trust me....

but, if you must here it is. i warned you Original Smoke Juice - Bacon

I purchased the k-go kit for my DM, because he wants portability and battery life. I got myself the Roughstack mod. It's got the option of stacking to a 6v or running at 3.7. I got a bunch of different ohm cartos and attys and a 306 with a purple drip tip. Also got 2 5v passthroughs... Got my DM the tank from Hoosier to go with the k-go. I got a bunch of flavor mixes from gourmet vapors, and got the DM his fav coffee flavor from Vermont Vapors.

Oh, as for bacon, Vermont Vapor has a "Smokehouse" vape that adds a taste of bacon to anything. It was actually awesome in the coffee flavor, as odd as that sounds. Was good with a tobacco flavor too.

I bought a bunch of DIY liquid, so I'm going to do some experiments with mixing.

@tidegirl : No, not published in a traditional sense. I have about 200 non fiction articles floating around on the internet, but as for my fiction goes I haven't published any yet. Working on my second novel. First novel is floating in editing limbo. It was zombies, kind of a faze. Moved on to ghosts. Based on the tale of the Eddy brothers and their farm. It was back in the late 1870s that this happened, my book is set in modern day, with a main female character and her sister who are mediums. Situations bring them to the Eddy's farm, as it operates as a Ski Lodge for New Jerseyites. The property is a disturbed property, as far as ghost activity, and the surrounding land. There's a heavy dose of madness in the tale, with twists and turns.

The process is slow going. But writing is when I smoke the most. I'll be glad when I have my vaping stuff so on days of heavy writing I don't feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest. I know it worked before, it just didn't last because I didn't understand what I was doing. My plan is to get a silver bullet or V3, or oh, I can't remember the other one. I might get a second K-go too for myself when I don't want to lug the mod. Just wanted to get a good start. It's like $250 a month to smoke now with all the tax hikes. For that much I could get a nice PV mod and some juice...and that will last me several months. The money savings alone makes it worth trying to stick to it through embracing it as a way of life, rather than just an alternative.
