I'll continue the rave. These are hands down the most reliable, consistent, pleasurable vape device I have used to date. Having been (notice past tense) a die hard Phoenix bottom coil lover, I hate to say I have not touched any of them in the past few days. These SplitFires rock and keep on rockin. If I could I would trade in my entire vaping stash for another six of these. They are that good to me. Specifically the magic yellow one. The Elvis Blues one is OK but can't keep up with the yeller one. Come on...barely any moisture in the battery connection over a tank or two. No dry hits, no wet hits, no juice in the mouth, great flavor. What else works this well. I dare you to claim your device tops this item.:glare:

so you like the slpitfire???

Wait... I thought it had been determined that this is rebuildable?

Yes, they are rebuildable in the same sense the vivi's are. You can recoil and rewick them just like a vivi nova head. But they are not sold as a rebuildable, They are sold as having a replaceable head.

You'll like it Zip. Seriously my PBC's are getting deeper into my seldom used pile. Hope you ordered the magic yellow.:)
I have not tried BB in them yet. I have used 70/30 and 50/50 with no issues. But BB worked fine in the PBC's for me so I am sure it'll do OK in these.

Ok quick question? Do you have to take it completly apart to screw the bottom connector back in a bit. (Never thought I'd say this but) Mine is sticking out too much:facepalm: and will not screw down very far into the 510 connector like the nova did.
I'm not sure TNT, mine aren't sticking out. Hopefully Wally has an answer for that

Mine do not protrude much at all and mine are all filled right now but lets think about this. The bottom center post needs to contact the upper head post. I would think if you loosen the the top section you shoild get movement upwards on the bottom post by twisting pushing it up.
Just tried it. Loosen the top section unscrewing the middle metal piece just as you would to fill it. Not totally off, just loose. I pushed mine down on the table and roughly cut the protruding amount in half. Screwed it on my ProVari then snugged up the top section. Removed unit and it stayed where it was adjusted to. If these are off a battery and you overtighten the top section it will push the center post out again. If you are more gentle when tightening them off the battery they should stay put. No need to really crank these down. They do have o rings that seal everything up.
Hope it works for you. If all else fails there is always the trusty file.
