Anytime the coil is up top near the drip tip, its gonna be on the warm side, even hot, as is the case with the Kanger T2's (IMO).

This tank will still work, if ya put a nice big stainless ming tip on, which for me, cools things down a tad over other drip tip material...

That makes a lot of sense, thank you zippersnapper.

Have you tried a ceramic drip tip... seem to insulate as well as a large SS in a smaller size.

[h=3]GotVapes SplitFire 3ml Tank Replaceable Head 2.4ohm - CLEAR[/h]$12.95

Introducing the Gotvapes SplitFire by TempestTek!

The bottom of the tank holds up to 3ml of ejuice and is separated by the top air chamber by a metal plate with 4 drilled holes for the wicks. Each head has two ~2ml wicks giving you four lead wicks that descend into the juice chamber for extra wicking. This is similar to our Vision Grande 4 wick-lead system.

Fully disassembled you can replace both poly carbonate tanks and coil/wick heads. We have replacement coil/wicks available in 1.8ohm, 2.4hm and 2.8ohm as well as various colors of 2 piece tank covers.

The replacement wick is shoe-lace tipped to allow easier insertion into the plate holes when replacing your wick!

  1. You will receive one 510 threaded SplitFire Tank with 2.4ohm coil head.
  2. It is recommended that you prime your wick above the metal plate and allow time for the wicks to fully soak before vaping.
  3. These were manufactured with an easy to adjust slot-head connector pin. The way these were manufactured TempestTek assembled these with 1/2 mm or so protrusion so you may need to adjust when screwing into your PV.

Bumpity bump folks :laugh:

ive had no over wicking issues, if you do simply adjust your wicks,

No worries good sir, I think it was just the juice mix I was using. I pulled one of the wicks and it works great now, two days into it and I haven't seen that problem since. Hell, I'm already itching to grab some more. :D

iplease dont think i was implying anything, because anything is possible with these type of setups, just wanted to mention the ones i have been testing have been free of over wicking but i made sure the wick where fitting right in each hole etc..., but i can see it happening depending on juice or how the wicks are placed and its easily fixed from what im seeing if someone has that happen to them.

I filled it up and no special things I had to do for me personally. It's a tad bit heavier then I thought it would be :blink: must be the extra metal in it ? I dunno. It's NOT really heavy but I was surprised when I felt it is all, I had gotten used to the mini nova is what it was I think :laugh: So, I didn't have to adjust anything and it went right on and vapes GREAT !! Here's my bery first puff :laugh: I snapped the pic before I fully exhaled :facepalm: But this thing will put out some vapor I telling you ! :D I normally use 80pg/20vg juice & some 70pg/30vg juices.

There was no over wicking, flooding, gurgling, NOTHING for me just GREAT VAPOR !! I also LOVE the fact I can unscrew the top section, tilt it away from the bottom section to fill the tank from the bottom with the juice bottle and with no syringes and not having to take the whole tank off my pv :thumbs: I have NO LEAKS...the colors are BOOTIFULS !!

THANK YOU GV GUYS !!!
