Hi folks!

Here I am. A rookie.

One of my buddies from work came in smoking an e-cigarette which got my attention as I have been smoking for something around 6 years. Before making a decision I wanted to get some information and this is how I ended up here. The choice is huge and I am taking my time to get a better overview, what is what and which brand is the best.

So just wanted to say hello

I am a newbie also. I did order my PV but just ordered yesterday.

I can't answer any questions, really, but did want to welcome you.

I suggest you read the 6 part series about the e-cig. Maybe someone who can post links will do that for you. It took me about 3-4 days ( a few hours here and there) to go through that series and read the links within the series.

Then read everything in this new member area, it will help.

I purchased the Joye 510 at Cignot because of cost and recommendations regarding the service they get from the ladies who run the site.

Basically their buddies over at Phillip Morris and the numerous pharmaceutical companies, Oh dont let me forget the government, are going to be losing a lot of money from these e cigs. So they have decided it would be better for their pockets to ban them. tobacco and sick people are HUGE money makers.

hmm, that definitely makes sense. There´s nothing more important than making another buck. And there´s never enough. Inglorious .......s. I am guessing that one day they´ll figure out how to get their share out of e-cigarettes and then the whole situation will come down.

I can recommend the 510 like I first bought from Cignot but that might not be the model thats best suited to your specific needs and wants. I wish you all the success in the world.

Welcome ElliotG, your in a great place. I wish I would have found this forum before I started. I went through two different ecigs that were expensive and junk before I found this forum. After a lot of research on the forum I have recently purchased my third ecig and love it. Everyone here is great. Its good you found this forum before you started, you will learn a lot. I've been lurking on this forum for the last couple of weeks and wanted to drop in and say hello and congratulate everyone here on how wonderful this forum really is. Friendly folks with informative posts, detailed descriptions, actively communicating suppliers and personal testimonials.
I was a pack every few days kind of smoker, smoking Blacks, and a friend turned me on to e-cig and i went out and bought one....from the mall. /facepalm

if i knew now what i knew then i'd be 150$+ richer

I just ordered my first manual PV and i feel like a kid waiting on christmas.

Ya'll keep doing what you do best, i'm gonna go vape.

I think the most comprehensive video series to get you up to speed is by a fellow named Sean and the best way to access these since I'm not a big Youtuber is through his website whichyou can find by looking up zigcigs. I can't post a website yet so you can figure out what goes before and after. There is alot of info there as well as links to videos.

At first he had no self interest but has since opened up his own online e-cig store. I wouldn't read anything into that but it should be noted.

lucky to be here before I´ve made my choice. There´s a lot to dig into before I make up my mind.
