Smoked for 40 years, (Well actually I quit for 4 years back in the '80's but then I ran outta (SOMETHING ELSE) !) and was recently told by company nurse she could 'hear damage in lower lungs'. Yikes ! Quit smoking about a month ago thanks to an E-cig a friend set me up with. It's called an EGO, works pretty good, and it's really helped. But I'm running low on fluid. Tried some'e-cig' site outta China, but the e-juices were horrible. Could get my atomizers for about $6 there, I guess that's not too bad. Ordered from 'clouds of vapor' earlier today. hope thier e-juices are better. Then my buddy emailed me about this site. And soo..... Here We Go !! Any suggestions on e-liquids that do NOT taste like tobacco products ? What I'm vaping (?) now is actually a mixture of two flavors my buddy gave me, cherry vanilla delight (24mg) and doublemint gum(0mg). Tastes exactly like Dr. Pepper soft drink ! Is it OK to mix 'em like that ? If so, can you order sweetners or other ingredients to change the flavors ? Looking for a mild, flavorful e-liquid that is reasonably priced. Anyone ever heard of Clouds of Vapor, MsTbakery, wanttovape or aromejuice ? Open to suggestion and/or advise, any assistance will truly be appreciated. Thanks, PapawBrett

Welcome to the ECF, Congrats on getting off of cigarettes.
yes you can mix flavors,

If you want a great flavor(in my opinion) try the Geoffs blend from Here Its on special this week for $11.00 any strength. If you are just getting off of cigs i would go maybe 24mg and a 70/30 mix sweetened. but that is up to you to decide.

It has been described as a mix of Big red and juicy fruit gum. Its a different flavor but i have been vaping it almost non stop for a year and buy it 5 to 10oz at a time.

Hello and welcome! You can definitely mix ejuices. The only thing you might want to consider is are they of the same nic strength. Personally I have ordered from Clouds of Vapor and Ms T's Bakery without problems. I've also used EC Blends, Mad Vapes and Mom and Pop Vapor Shop among others that I can't think of at the moment. There are bunches of good ones out there, varying in price. You just have to look around, see what you like, and experiment!

Hi Brett..Papaw sounds better than Crapaw. which is what our youngest grandson called me.

In addition to the nicotine % and the flavor, the base of the e liquid has to be considered. Propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) are the two most common. PG is thinner so a higher % of it in e juice will let it work better in some devices. It is also said to contribute to throat hit. VG is said to mute some flavors, it thicker and it produces more vapor.

When you buy prepared juices, you will have options for the nicotine, usually 0-24 mg/ml and the PG/VG ratio. Usually, the higher the nic content, the more the cost for the same amount. Higher than 24mg nic is available but handling precautions need to be employed because it can be toxic and is readily absorbed thru the skin.

A lot of mix our own and PG/VG liquids are available unflavored with the higher percentages of nicotine. Then, plain PG or VG is used along with concentrated flavorings to dilute the nic to a usable level. This saves a bunch of $$ but is not for everybody.

In addition to the sites you've been given, check out ECBlend.com for juice. Lots of options and very reasonable prices and excellent customer service. Come visit us in the older folks and vaping thread.

Welcome! We just quit three months ago and have been learning well enough to buy some e-liquid. I have so far bought liquids from ECBlends and Ms. T's Bakery and love both of them. I like sweets, so I have a cupcake flavor, and lots of other sweet things. Both of those places are cheap and have a lot of options for customization!

Congrats on quitting smoking!!

Welcome Brett. You're officially hooked now. You've traded an addiction for a more healthy hobby that can become almost another addiction haha. Here's a couple of more links - where I spend all my money lol.
