Hesitant about ordering from OldGoatMods - no order form?

I'm thinking about ordering something from Old Goat mods but the folks just have an email addy and no online order form? How does that work? I read you place the order via e-mail but er.. how and when/where do you pay?

Anyone have a bad experience with these folks? I'm on a budget and I like the prices which seems can't be beat for box mods already assembled.

Old Goat is a very reputable vendor/pv producer on this forum and has been for a while from what I've read. How the payment and ordering will work is through email/pm and paypal. Which is secure in my book. PP protects both the seller and buyer in case something happens.

I would definitely email him about any details before making a final decision. Never bought from him but I have from jmarkus who is the creator of the Army tank here on the ECF.

Its in the suppliers forum under modders/small suppliers I believe. Im very tired but its something like that. I bought one from him and it was a good experience. Cant get a cheaper bottom feeder without a quality drop.

OldGoat has been in the buisness for a while, no need to worry about him. I've had one of his mods before, they're cheap but perform like a champ.

Oh.. another thing.. anyone know if these mods use a regulator circuit? Looking at the pictures I don't see the regulator board/chip. 5v Box Mod

I see they were regulated but he was having trouble with quality assurance with the 5 v mod so he's dropping it and going to 6v. I'll email him on more info.

I know exactly how you feel, I am on a tight budget myself...
I was going to purchase a BOX MOD from oldgoat as well...
I heard from oldgoat via e-mail and I told him that I was seriously considering purchasing two Box Mods from him...BUT, I have to wait for the bank to send me my new credit card.



By the way, I use PayPal and I have not had a problem with them whatsoever.
PayPal has a couple of options you can choose from...you can pay with your credit card on-line...and register with PayPal as a guest...or, you can register with PayPal and they have a Bill Me Later program.
You can also try to apply for a PayPal Mastercard.

I'm sure he already got your payment. You might wanna be a little patient with him as to shipping. Sometimes a vendor might take a few days just to send it out. Once they do, I'm sure he'll contact you and let you know.

JP email him. Just email him :0). The goat is VERY good about emails. He has NO problem answering them (neither does Zac for that matter, the OG's kid). They are VERY good about answering with no .....ing!

Thanks again folks.. I did e-mail him this morning but since I didn't hear from him by close of business day I figured I would not hear from him till Monday.. that's how it happened last week when I mailed him late in the week.. he seemed not to work on the weekends.

I guess the question I should have asked you folks is should I have gotten a payment received confirmation? Perhaps he doesn't send one and I was wasting my time looking for one. I'm spoiled to it being automatic you know.

That might have been a good idea. I've got stuff from a couple of vendors websites that don't do any type of confirmation which tripped me out. Had to email to see if my item was even shipped. Thankfully they eventually responded.

Although, I usually check the details on Paypal which usually state if the transaction went through or not. You should go and check our account.

I see. I use my wife's Pay pal account cus mine isn't set up right now. Actually I tell her what to order and she orders it. I asked her that very thing tonight and she said all she saw was that the payment was sent. I didn't double check her for info she may have missed and I can't go check it cus I don't know her account details. I'll have to ask her to look for that when she gets home from work tomorrow thanks for the heads up.
