High end gear. Some people focus on getting away from cigs and some are focused on clouds. Some are on both paths. Going for the clouds takes more skill...and more money.

Just have to decide what is your desire for today. I am drifting to clouds, but, I still prioritize my staying away from cigs.

Good luck!

The big thing to remember when you see the clouds on video is there using high resolution high contrast video. That makes a good cloud look like an awesome one. They also mostly use 100VG juice. You would be surprised how nice your vapor output is if you video yourself with a good Camera. I'm not a cloud chaser myself, But I enjoy a deep lung hit so I make big clouds that rival the cloud chasers at some of the local shops. I'm most often using an SVD and a 30B or 30S atty. using 60vg 40pg juice.

How does the 30B compare to the 30S?

to me the 30B has a tighter draw then any of the 30S units I have, both make good vapor, but for flavor the 30S wins hands down its almost as good as my Kayfuns in flavor. I do mouth to lung inhales most of the time so the 30B is better for that IMO the 30S is just loose enough you can get a good lung inhale if you want to and it has good mouth to lung. I do lung inhales on the 30B also, but The tight draw takes awhile to fill my lungs. Id say all around better unit would be the 30S IMO

Ive been cloud chasing, and its not as hard as you think. I use a mechanical mod, rebuildable dripper with double coils that come out to .6 ohms, and lots of patience. I watched, read, and sought advice like crazy. I straight lung inhale and I think most do. What created the clouds is a lot of air passing over the coils and the only way to do that is by inhaling directly into the lungs. I use very low nic and its not harsh at all.

Just educate yourself on batteries, ohms law, and watch youtube.

Yep, what itskohler said...

We use lung hits with low or no nic. My normal all day vape is 12mg, but I can't go with more than 3mg when cloud chasing. It's too much throat hit for me.
Lower nic and high VG will reduce the throat hit to something you can handle. The larger airflow not only produces more vapor, it keeps the coils a bit cooler. If it's too hot you can't vape it, so you want to draw pretty hard to get lots of air running over the coils.

I didn't think you were supposed to inhale. I don't. You still get both the flavor and the nicotine -- and I've gotten condensation in my lungs before, which is no fun.

jbwheels
Condensation from what? Water I'd suspect. E juices are made with vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol with flavor extracts added.

You to can make those giant clouds, don't need anything fancy. A mechanical mod with say a .25 ohm low guage coil in a RDA, 100%vg liquid! a fully charged good battery and a nice bright light over head. ;) Mech or VV/VW device shouldn't matter much as long as it can provide high wattage at low ohms.

Edit: decimal point was in wrong place, .25 not 2.5 lol
