So, I spent hours searching for a sturdy mod. Originally wanted VV. Then decided on 5v regulated since, let's face it, that's what i'll be vaping anyway. The thing is, I work in a tropical environment [aquarium store], and can't afford to risk having a weak device that fails right away.

After going through all the stuff on vapormoon.com with my wife [still a smoker], it just hits us both at once; these mods are bloody gorgeous. The saber touch is truly the nicest mod out there, aesthetically. So nice, in fact, that my wife is going to buy one and take the plunge! I've been vaping nearly three years. It was vapor moon that finally convinced my wife to give it a shot!

So, it's an early birthday gift for me, from my wife and myself, I guess. [birthday is on the 18th], and I was just so happy she agreed to let me get one. She normally worries about money to the point of insanity, but she could tell from the site and the reviews that it's a sturdy, well-built device that I can depend on. So I got my paycheck monday morning and placed my order today.

5v regulated edition, nickel plated, rounded end caps. No threads showing, with the black crinkle color. Got the HP version and the 'racing stripe' custom turning. Man, this is going to look great.

So hello everyone. I'm introducing myself like this because I get an air of fellowship amongst you guys. And Sir Lawrence is just such a wonderful person. I can't begin to thank him for his help, every step of the way, every question I had, no matter what. He answered me much faster than I thought, and I was able to figure every detail out quick enough to get it ordered right away. Sir Lawrence, you truly are an exemplary supplier. I don't care how good the other vendors are, everyone could take a lesson from Sir Lawrence. Besides that, he's an artist. The mods are stunning. I like that I got to pick out every detail myself. I like that this mod is really mine. Next time I'll probably get a custom powder or something. But this was just perfect as is. I can't wait to see it.

Congrats on the new purchase! Saber Touches are really nice! I can't tell you how many times I have actually filled out an order form with my specifics, and then hit escape because I couldn't afford it. haha! Great purchase! Hey, any purchase that keeps you from smoking analogs is a great purchase! Happy early Birthday! :)

That would be correct. The two 550mah AW IMR's 16340's push it just fine(in fact better than fine) The whole key here is mah=run time. But here's the thing, higher mah batt's(non IMR) have a constant drop off, while the IMR's do not. So rather than getting a long dropping off vape, you get a shorter steady vape. I have tried various batt's on sabers, and have come to the conclusion that AW IMR's work the best. Theres something about how well they make the sensor operate. In both my previous Saber VV's, I only used 2 AW IMR 18350's. They are 700mah as opposed to the 550mah 16340's. And a plus is they fut the diameter of the Saber very well. I got a couple of them ready here for when my 5volt arrives.

and also, all these batteries have different lengths. what lengths are going to fit?
The recommended size is 16340, but here's the thing, AW IMR's are slightly shorter so the 18350's fit in there just fine.

Edit; The only 18350 that fits is the AW IMR!!
