Hey everyone,

I have been vaping for the last month after giving up the analogs and starting to really get into it.
Iv just received an order from Mt Baker and in there I had ordered some 12mg unflavored juice.
Iv got a couple of flavor concentrates I want to play around with. Just have a question about it though,
If i was to make 10mls of strawberry flavor : that will be 9mls - 12mg unflavored and 1ml strawberry flavoring for a 10% mix at 12mg.

Correct me if im wrong.

Cheers

to ecf dvscvc and to the wonderful world of DIY. I am not sure what brand of flavoring you are using. The Flavor Apprentice recommendation for Strawberry flavoring is 3-15%. Depending you how strong you like your juice. You are correct in the recipe you posted. I personally have found that some of the flavors are stronger than my liking so if it is a flavor that is new to me.......I go lower than what is recommended. I would try a small amount like 5 or 10ml sample first so you will be able to adjust if you want more. Like they say...it is easier to add flavoring. I would probably start at 2% if it were me but I don't like real real strong in my face flavors. I prefer somewhat muted juices. Everyone is different. Have fun with it. There are lots of good DIY threads on here and always someone that wants to help. Hope I helped a little bit. Good luck to you. :)

Hi and welcome to ECF :)

Everything Rat2chat said is spot on about mixing. Start much lower on your flavor percentage. It is way easier to add more flavor than it is to fit more base into a small bottle (especially if you are using one bottle of base to make this mix and you dont have additional). And FWIW your math is correct! Calculators like ejuicemeup and .................... are awesome for double checking all of your math as well.

Welcome!! I second the recommendation to get a free on line e-juice calculator. I am terrible at math and don't trust myself to figure it out correctly then remember what I came up with so I use this calculator:
e-Liquid Calculator

That one also allows me to save my recipe, just in case I come up with the world's best tasting juice I can reproduce it!!!
