Just curious.

What goes on in those "high drama" groups. This is the only e-cig forum I currently visit/post on.

I've visited a couple other vape forums, usually when ECF is down; some are ok, but they don't get much activity. One or two are absolutely profane, kinda funny sometimes but also a bit disturbing on some level. As much as sometimes the rules on ECF perplex me, when I compare ECF to those other forums.. well... I'm still here. :D This is such a wonderful environment for change and learning, even though there is often the usual internet BS of "my this is better than your that," etc. :D And of course all the new and uncharted political ground of vaping; it can be quite tiresome, but I guess that part is necessary too.

To whoever mentioned it on the first page... this is the best possible way to do any new thing, with all this shared knowledge and support. I couldn't have carried on and succeeded without ECF. Hats off to everybody here and the thing itself, yay ECF!

Andria

I also have a box mod in the works I'm designing. Hopefully I can get feedback and input on suggestions or ideas to improve it, I've had the idea to possibly sell something like this do I want to make a fully featured master then offer people a box mod with whatever options they want in it, and there's going to be many options lol

Try browsing around the Modding Forum. Read all the "stickies". You will find lots of helpful information there.

Regarding making a mod and selling it you will not be able to talk at all about "selling" or "advertising" without first getting approved as a Registered Vendor. No business type discussions are allowed if you are not registered, even if you are not yet selling.

Here are the rules:

17. Advertising/Selling in posts
a. You must not use this forum for advertising. Any post that seems to have been made for advertising will be deleted. Registered Suppliers may advertise subject to compliance with their specific rules. Members wanting to sell, trade and/or buy e-cigs and e-cig related items from other members may only post these items in the Classified section.
b. Shilling (commercial and/or excessive promotion) is not permitted. This includes affiliate codes/links, links to Unregistered or Banned Suppliers, and links to sites of dubious quality/content/reputation in signatures, blogs or forum posts.
c. Employees of a vendor or any person commercially affiliated with a vendor are not permitted to discuss/advertise the business or products of the vendor.
d. Pre-advertising: no business-related posts are allowed anywhere on ECF unless registered as a supplier. Potential suppliers (not yet actualized) cannot post anything business related anywhere on ECF.

Awesome! Thanks both of you! As for my box mod that won't be got a while as it's not fully designed yet or tested, when the time comes hopefully I'll have my lil business going then I'll chat with some of you mods to see how I go about things and whatnot! I'll check out the modding forums thanks! Hahaha I'm sure there at least done if that everywhere Andria, that's ok though!

Does a seller have to have a llc or registered business to be approved? Just curious, this won't be got a while though, lots of stuff to do and there's way too much going into this box mod lol
No, I don't believe so.

There are members who just make mods, modify atty's, make drip tips, etc. to sell BUT are registered. There are many places they cannot post for the protection of members who are not in the business of selling products.
