Yea, you will be fine. Meter your wire or simply use a resistance table for 32GWA kanthal to determine your length.

A-1 Kanthal is Resistance- 13.96 Ohms/Ft
So that's 1.16 ohms per inch. Start with like 1.75 inches between your no resistance wire and you will have around 2ohms.

Cool, thanks.
Ps - I sent you a pm if you can take a look before I buy some:toast:

I'm ok with 1.6ohm in 4.2v but would like to build my own (first time) that will give me around 2-2.2ohm to vape at 5v

I use 34g to strike a 2-2.x ohm coil. You can do it with 32 but you'll need to add length. 34 will get you there with less and in a penny/ody you value the space.

Hard to say...usually these things seem to go up in spurts.

I'm sincerely hoping for one 4.00 dollar ring lol.

I *wonder* if I could use two of the thinner Ody rings and cobble together a full mode Ody. I suspect there would be some over wicking for one reason or another trying to do that.

I bet you could use one of the thinner rings and an oring of the right size.

The only thing I saw was the Penelope for a very brief moment. And as a consumer, if you have a legitimate reason to complain, you should. Do it in a respectful way of course, but I see way too many people walking on eggshells around here afraid to say anything. Companies can't possible improve operations or customer service without truthful feedback. And in my opinion, any company that cares, will want to hear all feedback, both the positive as well as the negative. It's called constructive criticism.

I did not really have a reason to complain. I swear.

I was just expecting there to be wick, and coils and parts based on the first post in the thread. I did not ask for notification on everything, but just some things, so I was not sure if parts came in that maybe I was not focused on.

I was mostly curious. honestly. :)
