Just got back from lunch and as I was walking back to the office, hitting a dripper equipped mech, I passed one of our city's indigent denizens sitting on a park bench. As I walked past him he asked "Hey man, can I get a hit off that?". I politely declined and he then asked "what is that thing anyway?".

Didn't matter what it was, dude wanted a toke.

Just one of the things I like about vaping: Not having to hand out cigs. Most street folks will see an exhale from a distance, approach, and by the time they're close enough to see what's in my hand, they are too confused and bewildered to bum a smoke. One guy did just walk up to me in the park one day, point to my mod, and grunt as if he wanted a hit. "No, sorry. It's a vaporizer containing an antibiotic meant to clear up my herpes." He didn't ask twice.

I can't tell you how many times I've had that happen out here. I mean, it is Colorado but my goodness its just something else lol. My favorite is (in my best impression of a 'one who has recently thrown stones' voice), 'Dude, so does that like get you twice as ....'

Ha ha I'm sure he didn't. I've been seeing more and more of that bewildered look lately as people see me draw on my Vape and they slowly creep over and ask to use my lighter or to bum a smoke. Someone should make a YouTube video of a compilation of occurrences like these lol.

I was thinking of getting some of those "condom" covers to carry around with me, just for times like this. Maybe if more people actually tried vapor, they'd jump on the vape train with us. :D

Or, since I pretty much always use removable-driptip tanks anymore, just carry several driptips with me.

I got harassed by a guy a couple of weeks ago at a Halloween party to hit mine. It was really annoying as he wouldn't take no for an answer. Eventually I had to get mean. I'm always getting people asking to taste my vape. One of my friends "steals" my pens and tastes them but it's funny when he does it.

Chipotle.
Another thing I'm seeing lately is "vape traffic". You know, your at a stop light and you see clouds coming from the car in front of you. I find that so cool man. Signs of the times my friends.
I love seeing others vaping while I'm on the road, if I'm anywhere near them I usually give some sort of salute while holding my mod in my hand. Recently I was sitting at a stoplight blowing some clouds out the window when a local police officer pulled up next to me on the driver side, he flashed a sort of diabolical looking smile at me which threw me off guard a bit but then he pulled what looked to be an M16 with a Patriot on top up to his lips and blew a cloud in my direction and gave me a little nod of the head before he pulled away from the light. Made my day, since then I've seen three more officers around my town vaping as well. The times are definitely changing!

I am definitely "that guy" have not had the pleasure to run into anyone else doing it yet. But I live in a pretty small town, with just one vape shop, hoping too soon. :vapor:

Traffic is thick as VG in Bay Area. See much vape traffic. Can always tell a vape cloud from a smoke cloud: Color is white, not blue-gray, and the cloud dissipates more quickly. Outside or in a car with an open window, always seems like my exhales are of less volume. But I think it's just because of what I said, the vape cloud evaporates so quickly outside. Kinda fun nodding to other vapers on the road. Even funnier with cops.

Exactly, I love that people don't ask me to bum a smoke anymore. That story is hilarious, very witty response!
