a quick hello to everyone...

i've been diying for about 3 years and built up a decent stock of mainly single named flavours. i have mainly FA, TPA, Cap, Inw, FW, ooo and a couple RF. Up until now I've used e liquid calc site and all the flavors at little. I joined here after reading several posts on blending/steeping techniques. I have lots of experience of the 'throw it in and wait' school but I have thoughts on the different speeds at which concentrates mix - considering specific gravity as one area I've not seen much on.
But back to beginnings. I started with a bottle of 72% nic from Totally Wicked pre TPD, 250ml of glycerin from Boots chemist, a 100ml PG again from TW and a small order from UK Flavourart. My first mixes were some of HICS free recipes - thanks for those and of course what seemed like the Rosetta stone FA flavour notes.
My first and still important recipe to nail was/is Element KLC. I've not tried for awhile but i do remember those early attempts tasting rather like Lime Coca Cola after a long steep - I was side tracked, as often happens 'down the rabbit hole', by something delicious, but not quite what I was after.
Anyway, after that ramble, hi again.

Hello and welcome! I have recently learned to mix things like bakeries, creams, custards, and tobaccos first... let them steep, then mix in fruits and lighter towards the end (still give it a few days to work together) Some people have told me it's better to mix them all and then steep, but some flavors like lemon fade too quickly so I'm sticking to the method I described. Sounds like you already have a good grasp on mixing... maybe you can give me a few tips too.
