Just saying hi as recommended.
Been off normal cigarettes since last Sept. and don't look back.
My goal was/is to replace smoking with vaping.
As such, I need a device that I can keep in my pocket safely, taking up no more space than about 2 packs or normal cigarettes, as I did before.
What I'm using now is the Halo G6 system w/PCC. So 2x small batteries and 6 total cartomizezrs that I refill each day (the blanks conveniently come in a handy plastic case that works well in a pocket.) Then the battery I am not using is charging/ready to go and swap out.
That gets me through the day fine, and comes as close as I can see to a normal cigarette smoking lifestyle.
All of the alternative devices I see have potential leaking problems, aside from the challenge of finding a suitable pocket-sized case to protect it well yet not too large...

Any suggestions on a better system than what I'm using now? Any opinions on some cartomizer system that might work better than Halo's? There is so scarce info on these now as it seems most have already moved on from this outdated tech. Still, I'm not ready to give up the pocket convenience it offers yet. Also I fly a lot, and I guess all tanks have issues leaking due to pressure changes... not a problem with my carts.

I guess more than anything, the halo cart management is quite a chore to keep it working fine. Because if I underfill and keep vaping, the cart will be toast early, and if refilled too much it wastes juice to recover, and the flooded cart gives less vspor and taste for a while. Keeping track of puffs makes this easier, but that is also troublesome to remember well.
I guess ideally, i would like a viewable liquid reservoir to take the guessing out, but don't find any viable pocket and airplane friendly device yet...
Also just wondering, if cartomizers are really the only thing for my needs, are there any that work better than halo's? Want to use the best, but hard to know without trying. Hoping someone already compared, for example vapirfi carts to see which is the best.

Welcome to ECF!

I have a couple of suggestions.

The Ego One is a very durable non regulated tube style mod with some safety features. There are several different sizes. The tanks and batteries can be purchased separately. Link below.

Joyetech eGo One CT | eGo One Mini | All Features with Smaller Size

The iStick 30w and 40w TC are both very small and will accept any 510 threaded tank. An Ego One tank will work well on either iStick.

iStick 30w with Subtank mini.

If you like cartomizer systems, there are lots still available.

I remember the PCC kits (KR808) and they were fun, but not necessarily good.

These days, there are some tiny little mods that use 18650s and, yes, they fit in a pocket. I carry around all sorts at work and nobody thinks I'm hiding a light sabre in my suit jacket.

You could kit yourself out with Boge or Kanger cartomizers, put them on anything from an iTasteVV to a mini box mod.

Have you tried the mini tanks? (also known as the Kanger T4) Also, SmokelessImage sells the same type of devices (kr808d) so there are options there.

Also there was a thing called the eSmart and those tanks would fit if they are still around.

I used the g6 style and cartos for my first 6-12 months, but moved on. Today, my out and about devices are the Ego One and the Egrip. Another option might be the new istick basic.

Hmm, that would be an option indeed--510 carts that can be used on a box mod, then no need for the PCC as the capacity should last all day.
You mentioned boge and kangar carts. Is one better than the other?

My personal preference was for Boge. I still have a few as well.
Another option would be a small 18350 mod.
