Hi here, I heard lots about ECF and I just started 1 week ago to use en eGo-T. In the meantime, I spent (too) much time reading, watching reviews, etc and want to learn more about this stuff. I already moved to DCT 510 cartomizer, it is better than the eGo-T but I am lookign forward. A PV2 is already on the way, should be landing soon here. Looking forward to learn from this forum! Thanx in advance, Mihai

Hi wolandepiphanius,

Actually, I tried vaping 2 years ago but then, ecigs were a mess. I am inpressed about how much this whole think changed in a few years only.

eGo-T are not bad... but as I said, I spent too much time this week on various forums and wanted LT (for cost reasons), but decided in the end for the PV2 for quality reasons. PBousard's review of PV2 convinced me. And not only his. I am trying to learning fast.

I know, it hurts as it comes not cheap, but I think once I buy it, I do not have to look back... at least for a while...

Hi Chrissie and thank you.

as I mentioned, I am using a Smok DCT 510 but I feel there are better attys out there. I am looking for something that can be purchased without waiting 1 year to get it (like GG).
I will be using the PV with AW IMR 18650 as recommended. I saw some cheaper alternatives (Panasinic, Samsung) that would need the plus pole. On some other forums, I read that some people use it with 4 x 2mm Nyodim magnets to fit the PV. However, in teh PV user manual, they clearly state that these should not be used. I am aware that this magnet can create contact issues and when talking abou 2-5 Amps, it can be dancerous... What do you think?

I hear really, really good things about them, and I'm sure you'll not be disappointed. I wish I did some research when I started, then saved up some more money and gotten the Provari. I didn't, and I'll just have to wait 'till next year. But, that'll give me something to look forward to!

The ProVaris are about 159.00 lowest price. If you want different colors, I think it's 179.00 minimum. These prices are just for the unit. If you want to use 18650 batteries for longer life, you'll need to spend another 23 dollars for an end cap that'll let you use them in the provari.

Ecf is an awesome resource if you can get past the silly fanbois and cliches. Read a lot and don't be swayed by the vocal minorities. Not all as it seems, but there are some very good people here, you just have to filter the info.
Don't drink the koolaid even if someone promises you it is laced with whiskey...

Wait! You got whiskey in your koolaid? I feel ripped off now. I didn't get any. :p

Willkommen mgrigore. Grab a chair, get a cold beer (a good Pilsner or Alt preferred here) and have a vape. Great group of people on ECF. Provari ... everyone that has one seem to love them. I can't justify the expense just yet, but who knows. Maybe for Christmas. :)

Hi Hawkeye and thanx for the kind words... I must admit I spent many hours 'doing my homework' until I took the plunge... I had to dig through tons of information and filter the usual 'noise' that you get in any forum. PV has not reached me yet, but I hope to get it tomorrow...
I definitely find ECF a great resource and lookig forward to have a good time here.

Jealous too...maybe..actually quite satisfied with my EGO_T..guess is all in the user?..love shiny new things though..I have to admit it...g'day all

Definitely you are right.. EGO-T is not bad, only I purchased my set with the 650mAh cells and this capacity does not last me through the day. Therefore, I decided to get a real cell, 18650. And so I got to AW IMR. While checking the alternatives to PV, I decided for the original in the end. It looks very, very solid and nice indeed. And the knockoffs were not so cheap by all means. Not to mention they offered no guarantee, plus other issues.
