Hi all,
Have been lurking around for a bit gleaning info as I'm relatively new to vaping.
Been vaping for a maybe 6 months, honestly can't remember when I started as I've tried to get off analogs by trying various brands of junk gas station e-cigs over a few years span. Sometime around 6 months back I bought a VooDoo eGo set from a gas station and enjoyed it a lot more then the e-cigs.
I used it a bit here and there (still do, just not often), I ended up picking up a Tesla VV/VW and a Aspire nautilus(didn't like the Nautilus, so I picked up a Protank 2) and used that even more...still on analogs though.

Recently I've found a few vape shops locally and online and have been trying new flavors trying to find my all day vape so I can finally kick analogs.

I also have a new setup I'm waiting for, hoping I'll enjoy that even more...iStick 50w, Kangertech Subtank Mini, Plume Veil Clone, Derringer Clone, and an authentic Freakshow, a USAOhm meter, and some coil consumables.

Hoping to learn a ton of stuff here, and share said knowledge with other analog users around me.

Welcome to the club Simplyg!

I fiddled with cigalikes back in 2010 and 2011. Wasn't until Feb 2014 that I started "dialing in" on better equipment. I use a handful of Protank 2 with airflow adapters. They're great for me. Although, I'm pulling out my Nautiluses again, and I have a couple Subtank Nanos and a Mini.....

I got the iStick 50, and I  it. 2-3 days between charges....

Glad you're here :)

Far more than the gear the change of flavors is what got me to quit smoking. I smoked a pack+ of Camel filters per day for 30 years. When I first started vaping I kept trying different tobacco flavors but would still smoke the entire time. Once I switched away from tobacco flavors to mints (I love peppermint) I was quickly able to stop smoking entirely within the week.

to ecf Simplyg. Nice to meet you and so glad that you are here. So glad you are liking vaping and I did both for a good while also. I just kept cutting back and it got to the point where my cigarettes just tasted nasty and I loved the flavors. So if you really want to quit, you will. No need to put pressure on yourself.

Look forward to reading more about you. Have fun and make yourself at home. Let us know how you doing. We're family now
. :)

Hmm you bring up an interesting point.. i started vaping on the 25th last month and I have been curious on my I do not want a cigarette at all..

I have been trying to figure out if it is because of vaping because I tries a cigarette a couple days ago and it taste like crap... i am trying to also figure out why that is..

Anyway you have a good point in my research.. but some still want a cig like my wife she uses a cart istick.. i think that is her problem honestly cause you don't get much out of it.. i got a segeli 150w setup and a subtank mini..

Sorry post wasn't supposed to be this long just rambling.

You're o.k. My first GOOD equipment included EVOD tanks and spinners. I "upgraded" for the rest of 2014 and first couple of months in 2015. I now have the devices ands tanks I want. I'm just learning how to get more from them. In my world, that means learning to make great builds for my tanks and making juices I enjoy.

I now have more than enough equipment. I want to make what I have better.

The iStick arrived today, and the Plume Veil V2 clone, but no kanthal or cotton yet so I just tossed my Protank 2 on it, so far I'm really enjoying it.

Its going to be a process, as I still very much crave analogs, but I'm doing good since I have a 'new shiny toy'. Really looking forward to having the subtank mini and some RDAs to use on it.

Ya you sound like me...

I started out with a Istick Cart setup.. I went to the segeli 150w and the subtank because I wanted more.. Now with the subtank I can build what I want and make it better..

I do plan on getting into dripping and see how that goes.. I probably wont go insane crazy but I will be building my own coils and things in the rba of the subtank.. I am thinking of maybe another subtank because I want 2 flavors instead of mixing 2 flavors in 1 tank.. although chocolate donut and churro isnt all that bad together..

And for some odd reason my wife thinks I am going to spend as much on vaping as I did on cigs.. I really dont see how..... ::Looks around all shifty like:::
