Hello folks! Im new to vaping, Im trying out an experiment with it. I have moderate Ulcerative Colitus and there is strong evidence to support nicotine can help with treatment.

I have an eGo winder 900mah (soon to be replaced with a 1300mah version) and a few clearomizers, a Vivi Nova (single coil) and an iClear30. Im looking for the next step, an APV.

I gather the ProVari is kind of the superlative APV, I have no objection to getting it if thats what it takes to get a good product, but this one also caught my eye, and it significantly less expensive:
L-Rider Lambo 6.0 Variable Power, 20 Watt APV, Stainless : at SmokTek.com - Advanced Electronic Cigarettes

What do you folks think? is the one posted a good option, or should i skip it and go with a ProVari?

Let me preface my comment with I've never used a lambo and own a provari.. i did however use a vamo (very similiar) to the lambo.

Is cost an isssue? Keep in mind you will be spending money on batteries and a charger.

I love my Provari for a few reasons.
*made in America
*craftmanship is second to none
*great support and info from provape
* I get the same vape quality on a fully charged battery as I do on one about to die.
*battery life on the provari is excellent.
*one year warranty

I could go on.. bottom line I'm pretty certain going the provari direction you won't regret, the other guyz..well..you decide.

Best of luck on either choice.

Hello Gofastman and welcome! You already own some nice gear. Before we talk mods, may I just briefly suggest that you consider adding more heads to your arsenal? You may like the Kanger BCC line; T3S, eVod or Protank Mini v2 (glass),

Provari is unbeatable when it comes to reliability and quality of build, but there are plenty of new mods on the market that are good, offer more features (like variable wattage and dual 510/eGo threading) and cost much less than ProVari.

I like Sigelei Zmax V3 and up and iTaste MVP. I just saw a great deal on the MVP--hang on...

There are many options available and you'll get plenty of recommendations here. Read the reviews, watch YouTube reviews and tutorials--have fun! I really like and respect PBusardo's videos.

I would say watch some reviews on the lambo, I think they were saying it has some voltage issues. For me I guess if I was going to spend enough money for a provari, which I haven't owned before.. I would prolly end up paying for the NexGen Futura Mod or Cyborg.. that's just how I am I enjoy variable wattage DNA 20 stuff. But I will include the link about the lambo 6.0. below

I think I'm going to go with the Sigelei ZMAX V3- Flat top, a 3400mAh 18650 PROTECTED Li-ion Orbtronic Rechargeable Battery, and an AW IMR 18350 3.7V 700mAh battery, and last but not least, a NITECORE Intellicharger i4
Thoughts?

Thanks so much for the help!

Wait a second!

"3400mAh 18650 PROTECTED Li-ion Orbtronic"--protected Li-Ion batteries are not recommended For our MPVs!

The safest and most recommended batteries are high quality, safe-chemistry, high drain IMR (Li-Mn) batteries or the newer Panasonic or Orbtronic hybrids.

I use and like AW IMR batteries (red jacket) and I highly recommend them.

Being variable wattage and/or variable voltage is neither here nor there. Once you find the sweet spot your golden.

Well, I've been using my vw Sigeli mini for months now and I can tell you that I love the vw mode. The device checks the resistance of any atty I screw on it and adjusts the voltage accordingly. VW saves me two steps--checking the resistance and calculating voltage to achieve my desired wattage.

Before getting anything, I second this. If considering the Zmax V3, for example, check out what GrimmGreen has to say in his review. Look up reviews here on ECF, too. If you've never had a mod before, read the rechargeable batteries page. There are lots of great resources to investigate first. :thumb:
