Hi all.
All the way down under here in Melbourne Australia. Back into vaping after failing a year and a half ago and went back to analogs. Now been smokefree for 6 weeks and loving life. My cause for failure in the first place was that I was using a ego t..and it just didnt do it for me in terms of power delivery.

Now I am on a ipv mini rocking an atlantis but I have a question and I hope you can help me. The reading of the ohm on the mini is sometimes .1 off so im getting a reading of .4 ohm instead of what it should be .5

This does not occur all the time and 80% of the time it sits at the correct level. My question is being that .1 off at times, does this pose any danger? I have a samsung 18650 on it. I thought the ipv was not supposed to fire under .5 but it does!
Thanks in advance.

The IPV Mini is a regulated mod. I have heard that it can sometimes fire at .4 ohms, and the fluctuation you are seeing is probably that either the coil is just barely a .50 ohm coil. Coils flluctuate depending on a few factors such as heat, juice on the coil, etc.

Let's assume that the coil is exactly .50 ohms, and it fluctuates to .49 ohms. In that case, you would see the fluctuation on the screen as reading .4 ohms.

You didn't say what specific Samsung battery you were using, so a complete answer isn't possible, but you are probably safe because of the mod being regulated.
