Just goofing around when I picked the name. I havent been vaping long enough to know if ejuice can actually get moldy.

I kind of jumped down the vaping rabbit hole at full speed. I have about 9 regulated mods, six tube mechs, and four squonkers. Also about 30 tanks, RTAs and RDAs. Bought a lot of juice too, during the memorial day and 4th of July sales. My favorite juice at the moment is Creme Brulee from Golden State Vapor. I also got supplies to make my own juice and I have a bunch of bottles full. Also eight spools of wire to make coils.

Maybe a little overboard, but I havent had a cigarette in three months. After smoking 30 years, this is the first time I know for sure I'll never need to smoke again.

I don't think it can. I'm great at leaving stuff around, and I threw out some 6 yr old juice, it wasn't moldy. Maybe if you spread it on bread. Heck, MoldyEjuice, you did better than me on 4th of July, but after I went a week without smoking, I too jumped down the rabbit hole speedily.... I knew I could make it work. :) I can't believe it's almost a month, and I just made my first e-juice without poisoning myself... so far.

Welcome to ECF, and congratulations on 3 months not smoking, that's incredible! Reward yourself, LOL, sounds like that's what you did, and that's fantastic.

Good to meetcha! :)

Great to be here. Been vaping for about three months. I joined a while ago but I spent the first few weeks just reading everything here. So much good info.
Welcome and glad you joined.

I know the feeling, well were not as bad as:
Oh look, another new guy

I never smoke again either, too bad we didn't have vaping years ago.

I didn't expect it, cigarettes always smelled fantastic to me the 3ish years I quit pregnant and nursing, but really, I was doing that for my kid, not me. I always wanted to be upwind of whatever smoker, heh. Now, my husband is starting to smell gross.... It's funny. I can still tolerate it and everything (and he's supremely paranoid about not smelling like smoke around me) but nowadays I can totally tell, and it's not as appetizing as it used to be.

I was going to detail my car, but I think I'll just do it meself, given 4th of July sales, LOL. It will feel therapeutic to scrub that sucker out, probably. It IS a giant ashtray. Well, to a *point*. That happened to my kid too, I think he hugs me more now that he's quit smoking *and* vaping, and I quit smoking :)

Nice to hear from you moldy, I've been vaping about a year, it was pretty easy to quit tobacco and I'm down to 3 mg nicotine now. Good collection of gear you have there.
I make my own e liquid and my own coils, I only use RTA's.
I started making nickel coils but with newer vaporizers it seems to be easier to use stainless steel coils which are working out great.

Welcome aboard!

I know I am a bit slow at my age, but goodness.....in 3 months, you zoomed past what has taken me 3 years! Funny what the euphoria from kicking the sticks can do. I would say have fun, but looks like you accomplished that as well.

BTW, an LED lighted magnifying glass works nicely, even with the reading glasses! :toast: :vapor:

I've got a x5 magnifying glass that's handy for coils and reading the manual. I've got the 25 mm tanks which offer a little more room to work with instead of the 22 mm tanks.
I should have a Griffin 25 mm mini tank coming in fairly soon to put on the Pico 25, it should make a nice pair to bring with me.

Yeah, I use mine more for reading all the fine print on everything today then coil building and wicking. :D

I stole my husband's magnifying glasses and they are so helpful. I'm going to have to get a pair. I... really don't want to get those bifocal contacts, since I have astigmatism in one eye, they cost me quite enough.

I know it's the rods and cones or whatever that cause night blindness, but I usually attempt anything new/difficult in the fair light of day. Night is not kind to my sight, I wish they'd find a fix but I'm guessing it's unlikely....

"astigmatism in one eye" I have that also, a square looks like a rectangle for me. As far as I know my night vision is okay, the astigmatism is caused by the eye not being round.
I have a Griffin 25 mini that should be coming in within a few days, it would be nice if it had a coil with it. Never even tried the Kanthal. Always temp mode with nickel or SS.
