Nice review as always Scott.

I just had a quick question...

You mentioned that the e-cig is an M401, but based on the image and description in your review, is it possible that it's actually an M402?

I noticed that you said Mirage might have slightly longer batteries available (the kit comes with shorter batteries), and that the e-cig in question is about 5mm or so longer than a normal cigarette.

To my knowledge, the M401 battery is biggest one in the M-series, and is 108mm in length fully assembled (the M402 being 96mm).

It might just be confusion on my part, but I figured it was worth bringing up all the same.

hi mate,

yes thats correct. but as the only difference between the M401 and the M402 that miragecigarettes.co.uk sell is a slightly longer battery i just call them all M401's. lol
if the M402 had a different atomiser and cart to the M401 then i feel it would be more worthy of referring to it as a completely different model.

the mirage with the M402 battery attatched is the exact same size as the EVO when fitted with the "mighty atom" battery.

but the good news is that the longer battery and the shorter battery both have just a 10 second shutdown :)

cheers,

scott

wow! no comments about just a mere 10 second shutdown??!!

i guess i was more excited about it than you guys! lol

I'm excited too Scott! Watching video reviews of all the different e-cigs are quite entertaining! :pop:

Perhaps you can clarify this one for me...

I was informed by another die hard vaper that with the smaller M403 battery we were looking at a totally sized 85mm complete e-cig.

What is your slant on this? Decreased battery life perhaps?
