Hi Everyone...another success story

I have been lurking for about a week and really like the forum. I have gained a lot of information on vaping and read some amazing stories. Great site.

As for me....25 years with PAD full flavor menthols and half a can of Copenhagen daily. Add to that five pipe bowls and one handmade cigar...per day in the last ten years. All of that everyday. Picked up the ecig and have not had anything but ecig since. No desire for analogs....or the pipe or dip or any of it.

Ecig has to be the most amazing thing ever....I have "quit" countless times over the years and it never stuck. This is the first and only thing that has ever worked.

Besides, vaping and trying flavors and equipment is fun.

I am also enjoying being able to smell and taste food...and realizing how bad cigarettes stink.

I like my vitamin N which is why I like ecig. I am buying 26mg now but plan on dropping the dosage over time. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my doc says that nicotine can aggravate it.

Mountain Vapor is close by and they have been very helpful and I don't have to order anything unless I want to. I can just drive over there and buy what I want.

Look forward to reading more on the site.

EDIT: Total time on ecig is about one week.

Welcome puffin! I like to read these success stories. Mine is similar to yours in that I'm 27, also think this stuff is really great, live in nc, and I've actually had a type of early onset arthritis (a.s.) since I was 16... Knees mostly. I lurked for about 10 months though, just started posting.

Is the locall store you mentioned in the Biltmore Square Mall by chance?

Just noticed that you were mentioning MadVapes - do you happen to know how the new "no tobacco ordinance" worked out for e-cigs in that area? I think it was going into effect March 1

The local store is in Hendersonville on highway 25....called Asheville Highway in that area. Across the street from New Deal pawnshop. If you know Biltmore Square, you are not far from me.

A sandwich would have been quicker....I love the nicotine, I guess. My nic dose, given to a non-user, would probably put them in the hospital.

Iffy, I'm in Clearwater..do you know of any brick and mortar stores semi-local? I went to the Daytona 500 and found 1, 20 miles south of Daytona.

Congrats! Looks like you will be saving tons of cash that you were shelling out for all that tobacco! WoW! I was able to quit for almost 7 years using the patch, but started again due to stress... Vaping totally rocks! As close to the real thing as you can get... not to mention a fun new hobby and great people on the forums!

I think you will find it a great place. The lady I normally talk to there is pretty knowledgeable and very helpful for a noob to vaping like me. She seems to be the go-to person there for ecig stuff but don't recall her name.

I tried to find the one in Asheville Mall the other day and missed it. Someone told me it was in there...I was going to pick up a shaving strop at the pipe shop and never found the ecig kiosk.

I thought I had bought the eGo from her but checked again and I actually bought the E-Turbo. I love it. Much better than the other stuff I had that was leaking juice. No leaks and the battery life is very nice....plus plenty of juice. I am vaping Mountain Vapor's Apple Cured now and it is great.

Yeah the kiosk is hard to find, it's near the mini best buy I think. But they are tiny and don't have much cool stuff...

I couldn't reply on the Stardust thread, so I will say "thank you" here to Vapor Newb for posting the link to the youtube vid on how to clean this thing. Mine started getting very little vapor today...lots of juice in my mouth. Thank God I got two of these or I would climbing the walls by now. Anyway, going to take it apart and see if cleaning it helps. I tried rinsing it and an o-ring came out of it, so I need to figure out where it goes.
