Hello vape Hit
You describe a "burnt taste" and then talk of it giving you a "burning in your throat" on higher wattages. Those are actually two different things you are describing and may be caused by different things. So don't get confused by the responses as the answers may be defined by how the problem is interpreted.

When talking of a burnt taste that usually means the wicking has been or is being scorched which can happen with too high a heat/power, not enough juice, too long a fire/draw, etc. If the wick gets too scorched then the taste dosen't go away even if the problem is fixed, you need a new coil or wicking in that case.

A burning taste in the throat can come from too much nic (it has what I describe as a peppery afterburn to it), too much PG in the juice mix (it makes some folks cough and literally hurts on the way down (I know as I'm one of those), some juices such as those with strong citrus/perfumy/alcohol content can be harder to vape if your sensitive to them, and the dry hit which I've mentioned above being the scorching of the cotton (it not only tastes bad/burnt but is hard to actually vape and will hurt and make you cough).

So try and analyse what your problem is and follow the advice folks are giving you accordingly.
Good luck with it, we all take time to get it right once you venture away from the starter kits but the journey and the destination are well worth it.

sounds like you burnt the coil and got what we not so fondly call a "dry hit", where the coil didn't have enough juice so it burnt instead... along with your throat. no idea why you would have had that happen after a 15-20 min drive with it soaking... but... stuff happens. you're going to need a new coil, prime it, slowly raise the wattage if you can, and then hopefully vape happily.

Hi everyone, my first post on here because I need some help.
Bought a new kit called the Forza VT60. I'm from the UK. It goes up to 75w, and basically it's giving me a burnt taste, which is really bad. I have got it on 8w right now and that's just bearable. If I start putting it higher it just burns my throat and hurts pretty bad.
So basically there are different modes in the kit. I thinks one is called bypass and a temperature control mode. I just have it on the normal power mode and the info on the screen, are as follows.
8.0W
2.42V
Coil- 0.73- I thinks that's the ohms
I apologise for not knowing much about these kits, probably why it's not working correctly.
The liquid I'm using is 1.8% nicotine 50/50 iced orange.
So if anyone can help at all with a quickish response that would be great.
Also if any needs any more information from me about this. Please ask.
Welcome and glad you joined.
