Hi everyone, been reading through the posts on here for days now and finally decided to post lol

I've been vaping for 5 weeks now, haven't touched an analogue since I started. Used to smoke 25+ a day! Walked into a BP station that sells E-lites, picked up 2 complete units, extra cartridges and a wall charger. After 10 days of complete frustration at the '1 cartridge = 40 cigs' complete rubbish!! and a lot lighter in the pocket, I purchased an Ego T from Evape. It's ok, I'm not overwhelmed tho and don't feel like I'm getting enough throat hit. Am I a greedy vaper?! I'm using 24mg arctic menthol ejuice, no tobacco taste at all which surprisingly I like!

Now I'm wondering if I should get the CE5 :-/ I've tried searching for info on here but finding nothing. Could just be being thick and not looking properly so a nod in the right direction would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks :)

HELLLOOO NURRRSSEEE!!! Just joking. Hello and welcome to the forum. Lots of information here and the members are very helpful. Enjoy your new addiction.

24mg and not enough throat hit? Really? What is your PG/VG? I would imagine a 24mg would give enough throat hit. Although, the menthol flavor maybe muting that throat hit a bit since it has a cool sensation...

Ola, I am a new poster here so I figured I'd say hello too. Been off cigs since april, not even one smoke since i got vaping. I figured its an all or nothing thing, or at least thats how i knew i would have to look at it. Tapering off would not have worked for me. And since I had no withdrawls it was mainly a willpower thing. Anyway, now i think the vap tastes better and cleaner than cigs. I still think cigs smell nice but as we all know they don't taste like they smell. This has been a fun journey and it looks like the community is strong so I wanted to join. All hail the vapor!

Hi Missjinxs, don't forget there is a search box at the top of the page.
yes, try the Kanger T2, Vision 2.0, Vivi Nova and/or E1. these are considered "clearomizers" and have replaceble "heads".
Some people like cartomizers.
I don't know what would give the "best" throat hit, but maybe someone will see this and tell us.

Hello all, i've been vaping and visiting this site for over a year now and this is my first post. For those new comers, welcome-I am 100% convinced that e-cigarettes will literally save the lives of thousands of the people who visit this site regularly. Having been at this for a while now, I can tell you that your dirty nicotine addiction is quickly going to turn into a fun and obsessive hobby. Thank God cigarettes are so expensive because it would be hard to justify the amount of money spent on this hobby if you didn't know that in the long run you're saving a lot of money.
Anyway, welcome again, this site is wonderful-you have a lot to learn and try out. So many devices, juices, feeders... Have fun!

As for me, after almost 6 months of vaping without any analog, I can tell the run is going longer and longer :D (Provari V2, A2-TM, DID, mini DID, short DID, Gemini, etc.). The VV and rebuildable attys killed me! :p My dedicated Excel spreadsheet tells me I'll be starting to save money over analogs in approximately... 6 months! But that's if I totally stop my e-cigs' buyings, which I don't expect to. So, as you say, "Thank God cigarettes are so expensive".
Anyway, welcome to the forum and happy vaping! :vapor:

Welcome to the boards!

Been off analogs since Aug 6th. Worked my way up from mini e-cigs to the EGO Batteries. Tried everything from cartridges to Clearomizers.

Many hundreds of dollars later, I like the Kanger T2 with replaceable heads. Fill and Vape, no fuss no muss and they last most of the day.

Not sure what your limit on spending is but I've read that variable voltage devices give you the ability to adjust the level of throat hit (higher voltage I think equals more TH). So you might look at something like the Twist or maybe a VV Gripper. The higher the voltage though the hotter the vape will be as well.

The juice you use can also affect TH. PG is generally known to give a stronger TH but less vapor and VG is known to give more vapor and flavor but less TH.

I could be off about some of these things so if I am, someone please correct me. Either way though, I hope this gives you some (hopefully correct) information to think about.

Oh, and welcome =)
