My name is Tom, I'm new to vaping. I'm a little shy, so I may not post much, but I wanted to make an account because this site has helped me quite a few times with questions I googled.
I started vaping 2 1/2 weeks ago. I went to the local smoke shop for another pound of tobacco, and saw the vaporizers (I rolled my own smokes for about 50¢/pack). I wanted to try vaping, but didnt want to spend a lot of money on something I may not like. So I bought a Buck Naked Express. It was the only one they had. :/ Even though its a pretty tight draw and not much throat hit, I liked it. Loved it, actually. I waited several days, then ordered a Kanger EVOD 2 starter set that comes with 2 of everything. I'm checking the mailbox and USPS website like a maniac.
So that's that! I also love coffee - dark roasts. I'm a dog lover, and work at a pet salon bathing dogs all day. I couldn't be happier with my job. I live in the sticks, so most of my shopping is done online.
I vape because of the health issues that come with smoking, and the smell. Lately I've realized how smoking smells so much. Everything smells so much, tbh. Some good, some bad.

Hello!

I'm new too, been vaping over a year but honestly no clue what I'm doing. I am currently a stay at home mom, but before that I was a vet tech and adored my job, but my son was always sick and we lived at the Drs office and on antibiotics. (And I never, ever smoked in the home car or around my boys. EVER. My dad smoked 3 packs a day when I was a kid and it was gross so why I earth I ever started? smdh)The straw was when he got pneumonia the second time (in three months) while being on antibiotics for a sinus infection. I gave up my passion for my son's health, I miss it but will go back when he is in school, but a healthy happy boy was foremost.

Regaining your sense of smell is amazing! Thank god my kiddos are all done with diapers though...

Hi Tom, welcome to ECF! I'm from PA too and work weekends at an animal hospital on the boarding dept, love it! Bathe a lot of dogs too myself...usually end up drenched from them doing the shake mid bath. Good luck to you with your vaping, you can be as involved or uninvolved as you want posting here on the forum, and it's all good. Don't be too shy and quiet when it comes to vaping rights, we need people to be heard(CASAA) with all going on lately. PA has some beautiful areas in "the sticks", at times, we wish we lived in a more remote area.

Welcome Tom! I am off dry cigs since the 26th of May and I am NOT going back. When drawing in your vape draw in very very slow so the juice stays on the coil as long as possible. Do not pull the vape like an analog cig.

Nothing worse than ordering shiny new gear online then the wait. The crushing feeling when the postman doesn't have your vape mail and you feel like chasing them down the street to double check their bags.

Or what is worse is when you've had to "nip out" for 10 minutes and you get back to the dreaded "we missed you, your item is heading back to the depot, you can collect it on Saturday. That grinds me, and happens more regularly than I'd like to admit!!

I'll warn you, vaping and gear can become an addiction in itself!
