Hello everyone, I hope you are all OK.

I have been a member at a few other places for quite a while, and have really got into vaping over the past year.

I was reading on here the other day, and noticed that conversation on here gets quite in depth, with a big emphasis on safety-so I went to register, to find I already had, I must of done this a long time ago but forgotten (I have some memory issues).

I enjoy collecting mods, and so far have 19 regulated devices, and 6 mechs, plus many RTA'S and RDA'S.

I hope to get to know everyone on here, and enjoy my stay. Maybe at first I found things a bit confusing, and is why I was not here long, but I have learnt a lot in the past year, and love discussing with like minded people about all areas of vaping, from battery test results, safety, new mods, Coil building, DIY juice, what we individually enjoy, ETC.

Hope to speak to you all soon, Conan.

Hi, Conan, and welcome (again!) to ecf! Yup, it's easy to get confused with so much technical information floating around these threads. But folks are more than happy to explain things, as I'm sure you will be with the new vapers you interact with. So, get those first posts in and join the crowd!

Thanks everyone for the warm (Second) welcome.

I hope I can help out newer members, as when I first started, forums were the place that helped me, and behind each thread was an individual poster, who took their time to help me learn what I know now.

I feel I should do the same, as it is only fair, and maybe even learn a few bits I don't know, that I don't know of lol.
I am sure there is things I don't know though, as I believe you always continue to learn.

By what I have seen, I like it here. People are friendly, people give good, safe advice, and I haven't seen anything that I don't like-so expect to see quite a few posts from me from now on. :)

All the best, Conan.

That is a Nice way to Look at Things. Because that is what makes this such a Great Forum. The Amount of People willing to Help Others.

Welcome to the ECF.

@zoiDman , I think in general, most vapers feel this way, apart from a certain demographic, who do not WANT to learn, so can not pass on information to others-I have experienced this firsthand, a person I knew wanted to get into vaping, so I helped him. I started him with a lower wattage, single 18650 mod.

Within a few weeks, he had a sig 150TC, no understanding of ohms law or battery safety, anything that would not work under 80 W was "rubbish" and felt he did not need to learn "that rubbish", like safety. (rubbish wasn't used, I understand this is an adult forum, but I don't feel it the right place to swear), and he would be fine getting his coils made for him by someone he knew.

He then went on to get a mech-which I really advised against. He did it anyway, so I felt I could not offer him more information, as he was not willing to learn even the basics, and I would not be held accountable, as I know the blame would of fell on me.

Here though, it seems a lot different, I am on two other forums that I have used more, but see this as more information orientated, so feel it will suit me better now.

I think we should all be willing to help others if we have the knowledge, as we once started exactly the same place a new vaper is, and now it is even more confusing with the multitude of mods available.

And @sig-cmt , thank you, I am proud of my little collection :), every mod does get used believe it or not, not at the same time though obviously lol, they get rotated.
The next thing I want to get is the Xpure tank for use with my IPV5, that seems quite interesting to me, just need to find the cost before I purchase it.
