Well I am am new to the forum and vaping in general. I don't yet have my mod however, I am patiently waiting here in Alberta for it to arrive. After much research I went with the GLV2 from great people at Great Lakes Vapor. Service has been awesome from Sara so far! However, I can't say the same for the US postal service. Kinda wish I had it priority mailed...

Horrible tracking.... Mind you it's not real tracking so what can I say. And I have no idea if it's stuck at customs or not. I could go into a long rant about customs and postal service but I am sure we have all heard it before. It just sucked that I got my accessories before I got my mod so now I have a nice looking kit to stare at with nothing to vape with oh well.

Anyways, I was a smoker for 16 years quit for 2 then started smoking Cigars now and then because I just enjoyed smoking. I have now made the decision I don't want to do that either. But I still enjoy the smoking aspect.

Then I found the world of vaping and its many benefits not to mention DIY juice. Found LorAnns flavor but VG around here seems to be difficult to get a hold of "yes I have gone through the Canadian sub forums". I found glycerin at Bulk Barn but don't know if it's VG, there's a couple of health food stores I still have to try.

Well then, allow me to be the first to congratulate you to the wonderful world of vaping and the ECF. Those GLV2 units are very cool and I've only read great things about the folks at Great Lakes Vapor.

Hi Nate and welcome to ECF! Many vendors sell PG and VG. In the US, pg can be found at places that sell stuff for farm animals and vg is sold at walmart and any place that sells cake decorating supplies.

Thanks for the welcomes! So kellogg would I be safe in assuming " which I hate doing since that usually makes an ... out of U and mi" that the glycerin I found at Bulk Barn would be VG then? is there any way to truly tell it is?

Since I asked the sales person there and they had no idea what I was talking about. But doesn't really surprise me haven't found many 16-20+ that are very useful at their jobs maybe it's just me lol. Everything I keep reading says go to a health food store yet alas, all that I have gone to so far don't have any. I just want to mix something that tastes great and produces lots of vapor not worried about the nic level.

Glycerin from Bulk Barn is VG, and interesting you can find it there; will pick some up during the holidays to see the differences from Walmart stateside. Welcome and I'm still new (only 52 days) but I can say that you won't regret it!! Welcome to Vaping and ECF, eh?

I haven't heard of that GLV2 before. Let me know how it runs for you.

I haven't tried full VG juice yet but I've tried mixtures from 100%PG to 30%VG/70%PG. I found that the 30% was a good mix but I have a few flavours from clouds of vapor that are 100% VG so I'll let you know if there's much of a difference.

I'm stoked that I can go just pick up what I need from BB. My plan was just to make no nic 100% VG juice. I do have some PG and some 100% VG Juices from electronic-cigz.com their Premium Crystal line just waiting to be vaped. Unfortunately, my drip-tips / attys / cartos / juice all came before my mod did. I wasn't expecting that. So now I have e-liquid I can sniff but not vape and accessories I can touch but not play with. Oh well Murphys law I suppose.

I sure will let you know how the GLV2 stacks up for me. The review will be interesting since it will be from the stand point of a first time vaper.
