Hi all, from Charleston, SC. Have posted a few times, but have had no replies, but I think that is because of all the new posts knocking my thread to the next page, so I thought I would try again.
Pored over this site for the last few weeks, and finally ordered my first e-cig - the 902 from Modern Vapor. Had a little mix-up in the order, and only got a 5-cart of flavors, which I promptly ran through. It would have had to happen on a holiday weekend, so I am back to analogs until I get those in. Had mixed emotions on the 902's, so I also ordered the 501 kit from Cignot, and am waiting on that as well.
In the meantime, I had a few more questions. With the 501 order, I got 2 complete Joye 510 cigarettes (2 atomizers and 2 batteries), 5 prefilled carts, 1 AC charger, 1 PCC in the color of your choosing and your choice of 2 accessories.
Would you guys recommend a passthrough, and if so, which one? Or, should I order a larger battery for greater vapor, and if so, which one would work with the 2 ecigs that I will have? Are the parts for the 501 and the 902 interchangeable? And I really am not understanding all the differences in dipping and dripping, and which one can harm the battery in which device. Wanted to order some extra liquids, but dont know if I should order pre-filled carts, or just liquid to fill with myself. Can I reuse the prefilled carts? The Modern Vapor order included what I think are the fillable carts - empties with some type of cotton in them? What do I do with those? Am not trying to be lazy - and have really tried to look through all of the info here before bothering others with questions, but didnt realize the learning curve on these things. Really like the idea, and want to get off the analogs, but had mixed results with the 902's, although I am well aware that that may be due to operator error! Just need to understand a little more, and try to make this work and put down those nasty analogs. I have 2 beautiful little girls - one almost 4, and one 10 months, and we have another baby due in July, and I want to be around for them!

Ordered the same starting kit from the same company. Great to deal with cignot so far. Good choice.
I am very glad I ordered a passthru. I use it all the time working at my computer. Sometimes a little finicky with the battery acting up, but I have always been able to get it working again.
I emptied the pre-filled carts that came with my order and put juice in that I liked (not a Marlboro fan myself), so, yes, you can reuse those carts. I threw out the filler in those carts and used my own mod (go to the mod section here and you'll learn more than you ever want to know about types of fillers you can use).

Sometimes I think you just need to plow ahead and go for it, even when you still have questions. I think...no, I know you've done the right thing.
There are lots of good (patient) folks here to answer you're questions, and plenty of informative reading on your 510 in particular.

You really do have to do your research as all of your questions have been asked and answered time after time. I don't know anything about the 902, but the Joye510 is the best e cig going IMHO. If you want to save some money and aggravation, I suggest your next puchase be a Chuck of Little Chuck, check out Thagbuilt thread. You can use several fillers when the original filling in the carts gets nasty, look up cart mods. I use the white aquarium filter for my carts and you can wash and reuse over and over. If you use search or google at the bottom of the page you can find the answer to about anything. I use the 510 plus 2 mods. At first I bought the prefilled cartridges but that's too expensive. Then I refilled them myself. I never really got a good throat hit with the carts. So now I leave the cart empty and just drip a couple of drops directly on the atomizer and that works great.

The 510 is an excellent ecig. I have tried a few more but this one is far better. It is a learning curve to using ecigs but if you continue to read and learn you will do fine. Most people that switch to ecigs enjoy it more than smoking analogs. I'll admit there are times I get frustrated with the whole process but my health has improved so much I continue to vape.

All of batteries work good with dripping.
