Just received my first vape pen and switched from smoking cigs. Has been about 3 weeks with my eleaf Tessera.

Joined to gain any tips and diy stuff. Would like to make sure my mod is in top shape and already looking to upgrade the atomizer or top portion. Forgot what it's called already... lol

Welcome to the forum. The tank is usually referred to as an atty or atomizer. Your mod (eleaf tessera) will accommodate any tank with a 510 connection, which is pretty much the standard.

Welcome to ECF and congrats on the switch to vaping that's fantastic. Almost all tanks should work on your mod (unless they are cartomizers and/or extraordinarily ancient) as most tanks and mods use the 510 pin and adaptor so they're pretty much standardized.

If you want recommendations for another tank, starting with what you like and don't about your current tank could probably bring you more fruitful suggestions and etc.

I've been looking for a upgraded tank and not sure which to get.

I don't like the tank that came with it, it doesn't sit flush, the port for adding juice can leak and could be wider. I had to replace the stock coil for spitting really bad with a baby beast coil.

I'm not a fan not of clouds or looks, I just want to replace smoking cigs and have a nice taste.

What would be the best tank upgrade for me? I like to diy stuff so maybe I should go RDA... ? Not sure yet still learning about it.

Welcome and glad you joined.
Your top portion is often called a topper (Tank, RDA etc.) or Atty (atomizer). MTL and DL is important to know when it comes to choosing a tank. I suspect you are purchasing of the shelf replacement "coils" too.
