Hello,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Felt it was time to make an account and say hi. I've been using an eGo-C, and have been analog free for exactly 30-days today. It's been a really cool experience so far. Even got my mom to switch to an eGo last weekend, she loves it so much she nicked some of my juice.

My best friend (she lurks here too - hi! Jen) quit and went to a vaporizer at the same time as I did. She is far more experienced than I, and even changed from an eGo to a Provari. To be honest, most of what I know comes from her and reading sticky posts lol.

I'm waiting for a DIY kit to come in, but so far the vendors I have tried from ECF and Jen's suggestions have been great. I've ordered from a few places, and so far I've yet to have a bad experience.

So there's post #1, four more to go and I can post some reviews.

-Steve

Welcome fellow Hoosier! I'm about an hours drive west from you.
There is a Hoosiers vape club. I'll post the link. We met just last month and our numbers are growing.
There's a Vape meet coming up in Kokomo the first part of June you might be interested in attending.
Hoosier Vapers

CONGRATULATIONS on reaching your first month mark! It really is easy isn't it!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone :toast:

(@Kay1959 / Lethalp) That totally kicks ... that there is a club for Hoosiers. Here in Indy, I get the strangest looks when I vape in public. I get to answer a lot of questions too, so that's a plus. Still, it's enough to think I'm the only one at times.

As long as I am in town, I will try and make it up north for the meet-up here in a week or so. I tend to travel a good deal for my work, and the summer months are rather busy.

Welcome to ECF and vaping!

Depending on where you are located, there is small vaping shop called Indy Vapors. That is where I bought my Ego last winter as I was passing through Indianapolis on business. Decent selection of pv's/parts and they had a ton of juices to try out. They do have a website as well.

As for the hobby side of this, I can attest to that. It almost becomes an "evolution of vaping" so to speak. I started with an Ego (best device to start with in my opinion), then did a bunch of reading and moved up to a Silver Bullet mod from Altsmoke.com. Now I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a Provari. Finding what works for you is a journey and it's also a lot of fun trying out all the different types of gear/methods.

One thing that has helped me immensely is youtube reviews from the community. There are some great folks out there that have put a lot of time and effort into educating new and experienced vapers alike. Without them, I'm not sure I would be at the same place in my vaping journey.

Again welcome and if you have questions, just ask. We have lots of knowledgeable folks here on ECF.

J
