Hi all, I'm Mark from London, been vaping for coming up 5 months at the end of this month, am a member of UKV and Vaporwall and thought it about time I joined the biggest forum for vapers worldwide!
I started with a Vype Reload cigalike which was on offer at Tescos and was surprisingly good! It proved to me that vaping could really work in place of cigs, but it was too expensive to keep buying the tiny little carts. So after a week of intensive online research I had chosen something I hoped would last me a lifetime and cut down on my weekly costs- which it has done so far very admirably. I have been using a squape and dingo since then and absolutely love them both. It was a lot of outlay but I needed to prove to myself that I was serious and commit to vaping and that I would never smoke again, and it was less than one months cigarettes so was quite easy to justify ;-). The Vype used unflavoured ecopure e-liquid and I really liked it. In fact since then I have only tried a couple of flavours and found I get really bored of them really quickly so I guess I am very lucky to have found a great setup and a low cost adv that I am really content with so quickly :)

Hi DJS- thanks! That's funny you remember that! Actually I just noticed that Tescos have the reload for 9.99 again (2bats, refills and charger) and the carts are still 3.99 a pair so hopefully a lot more smokers will give them a try and get into vaping- the more the merrier I say ;-) I don't particularly like that they are BAT owned but they worked for me and I think are a pretty decent way to get into vaping. In fact I may buy another kit for travelling- have to go to Iran next month and I'm not sure how the squape would go down over there- probably fine but not sure it's worth the risk!

BAT are trying, but it makes me laugh. The other day on the TV, the "bloke from BAT" said e-cigs weren't very good yet. ???

They know what they're doing (much to my regret) but if it's Vype or E-Lites, Vype wins.

Vype is quite poor, but as a gateway to vaping, they are not at all bad. I just bought some to give away really. E-lites are just evil... so outrageously expensive and such BS about "puffs = 30 cigarettes"....

The thing that I really liked about the vype and why I think it worked for me (never tried an e-lite so can't compare) was the clean taste without trying to taste like a cigarette and the really strong nic- I think it's 30mg and 45mg/ml. In a small device like a cigalike that really made the difference for me- in fact I od'd a bit on them one night ;-) Others I had tried before were OK but I found the flavours odd and they just didn't work for me.
