I just got a new starter kit on Thursday, which came with a charger, a USB charger, 2 batteries and 2 attys for a steal. Since Thursday, I have lost 5 batteries, including the 2 new ones in the kit. I suspect that maybe the chargers might have fried them, but my other USB chargers don't seem to be working right now either. Maybe the new batteries fried the chargers? I'm nervous. I have lost half my batteries in 2 days. None of them were more than 2 months old, and a couple were less than a week.

I have done it before but not much, and I started doing it the other day when I lost 2 of them back to back, but it seems to have become chronic. Is there anything that can be done? It's too coincidental that I would lose 5 of them within 2 days if something wasn't "amiss." But what? The new chargers? The new batteries? My old chargers? All my batteries are dying! AHH

The charger came with the batteries? Does it say anything on the battery charger? It's the correct charger for the batteries? Can you contact the supplier you bought them from? That's a lot of batteries in just a couple months. I don't use my 510 a lot but I've been using the same two 510 batteries for about 4 months.

A couple DAYS. I've had most of my batteries for two months or less, and 2 of them I just got two days ago. Since Friday night, I have lost 5 of them. I only have 11, so this is pretty huge. Not to mention that I'm scared of losing more.

No, I always have my chargers plugged in. I screw the batteries in as they fade. Lately, I've been having issues with the light not turning red right away, or changing to green after a short period of time. Next thing I know, I'm down 5 batteries. The lights constantly flicker or stay lit constantly and either don't heat the attys at all, or keep them heated. Basically useless.

Do you think cleaning them out might help?

I think I would get a new charger. They don't cost much and it might be the charger killing your batteries. You might find when you get a new charger that your batteries are OK.

Yes, Swedishfish. The charger came with the batteries (well, the most recent 2) - it was a 510 kit that I got on sale. The chargers never changed colors when I inserted a battery. They always stayed green, but the batteries themselves would blink or stay lit for awhile when I first screwed them in. I also have 2 other USB chargers that I've been using for 2 months. They have been giving me problems sporadically as well - as in, sometimes the light won't change to red when I first insert a battery, or it will change to green quickly after I out a new one in - not enough time to actually give it a full charge.

I have many batteries from totally wicked, some of which are now dead. And really - even garbage batteries would last more than a DAY. Something is WRONG.

I've never bought anything frfom Totally wicked. Can you contact them? Got my kit from Rocky Mountain Vapor. I got batteries from ivape and chargers from LF and from LitecigUSA.

Have you been cleaning the inside of the battery and charger?

I think there is a video on cleaning those batts on the V4L site? He pushes them down into a toothbrush.........

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...batteries-tutorial-post-adjustment-video.html

Have you been screwing the batt into the charger Before plugging the charger in?

Just cleaned everything again and tried to lift the connectors a little with a safety pin - still nothing. got a teeny bit more action off the 6th battery that just died, but it looks to be dead again. I think it is a charger problem. That is the only thing that makes sense. But is it ALL my chargers, or just the new ones/old ones? That is the question. The new ones seem weird because their lights never change to red, but my older chargers (2 months) are also acting strange, which is why I thought it might be that the new batteries fried the old chargers out.

Now I want to get one of those multi outlet chargers, so I can charge 5 or 10 at a time. Anyone have luck with these?

What I would do is contact whoever sold them to me and expect either an exchange or refund. One other quick question...do you ever have power surges? If you don't, you have faulty equipment. I get all of my 510 equipment from Cignot.com and I've never had a problem with anything that I've purchased. Good luck to you.

Just lost another one. That makes 6.
