Hi folks,

As per subject, new to the vaping scene. Currently using eGo-T bought off a unregistered supplier in my hometown (KL)...

My fav flavors are:

1. Watermelon
2. Red Bull
3. Grape

Weird thing is I have this 'burnt' taste every time I take a puff...how do I get rid of it?

Hello and welcome to ECF! Check your atomizer and or the tank plug to make sure it is not backed into the tank! I had several issues like that because the tank plug was pushed back! I hope this helps! Good luck and Happy vaping! :D

Hello and welcome to ECF!!! Just wondering if you are chain vaping or if you get the burnt taste right away. Also try cleaning your atty and prior to using it again drop some e-liquid straight on the wick and allow time to absorb, then try again. I found using my eGo-c I had to sometimes pull the tank out and reseat it to get my juice flowing good again. Hope this helps.

I had this problem frequently and quickly with the ego T. I tried many cleaning tips from here on the boards, but unfortunately once the wick was burnt I never could get the taste to go away. I moved to cartos (most popular option here) then to clearos (less popular but I like them much more.

Some like dripping, but to me it is not a very practical method for all day vaping. You have to add a few drops at a time. Some do use it as an all day method though.

@tj - yea saw those videos...seems tough for a novice...what if I cant put the plate back LOL

anyway i called up my supplier...he ask me to buy a dripping atty for better flavor...any feedback?

*i suddenly realised he might be on ECF too...*

The little tank is your installation tool.
Just stick the plate onto a tank and push the tank into the atty.
Once you learn to drip, you will never use the T tanks again, there is that much difference.
Dripping can be a little messy, so you also want to get a drip shield for your eGo.
This is the one that I use on an eGo type battery.

Welcome cyberous, So happy you found us here.

Unfortunately I never did stick with eGo's T system because of the issues your having here, the eGo itself is a great PV especially when starting out. If money isn't too tight I'd suggest trying a few different options, perhaps a box of Boge 2.0 cartomizer, a DT for your T system so you can try dripping and maybe some type of clearomizers, to see what you like better. All have Pro's and cons but you should get a better idea of your personal vaping style. Personally, I'm a Boge cartomizer girl :)

hi guys, i am looking for new mod. any nice and affordable mod to recommend to me?

What have you had until now? For a first mod, I usually recommend a kGo or an e-Power. You will need to order a new kGo when the sealed battery inside finally dies in 5-6 months. If that would be inconvenient or expensive, go with the e-Power because it uses separate rechargeable batteries, much like a flashlight. Either one of them is nice, reliable and affordable.

If you're looking for something with high or variable voltage, there are a lot of options, so it depends on what you like or what you can get your hands on. The Lavatube is probably the most affordable and widely distributed VV mod out there. They sell them all over the world and the newer version is coming out, so Ver. 1 is getting less and less expensive.
