I quit smoking cigarettes (after 50 years) and began vaping about three weeks ago. It was a fairly seamless transition though adapting the routines and rituals has been the hardest part. After a few days I smoked a half a cigarette out of pure curiosity and found I didn't even like it anymore. I started out vaping 18's and within a week found that I preferred to drop down to 12 after lunch. I now drop down further to 6-8 after supper. I've got three EVOD 2's so I just keep one loaded with each strength for the time periods.

I am a chemist so I'm keen to get into DYI juices. I also like to tinker with electronic stuff so I expect I'll get into modding and coil rebuilding, etc. soon. There is a great deal for me to learn about both. This forum seems, by far, to be the most informative one out there.

So, hello and hope I can contribute something useful to the forum in time.

Hi and a hearty welcome to the world of ex smokers. I quit 4 months ago and will never go back. My best advice to you is to stick with the evods for at least a month before jumping into more expensive hobby of Mods and building coils etc. Play with finding your favorite tank or clearomizers and study up on the care and feeding of your new Life Trend. Keep in mind that alot is going on about Vapeing in the Legal and FDA arena and watch what your state and local Gov. is doing with the e-cig laws. You may find Vaping will save your life and many others if we can keep it Legal. Glad to have you aboard and belive me a good Chemist is a treasure we all appreciate in this community. :) Keep on Vapeing on.
