Welcome to the community man. Glad to hear you moved to vaping and left the stinkies behind. I have had an itchy throat with some juices that were high in PG and low in VG. I have also had an itchy throat if i vape too much in a short time without drinking some water. I hope this can help
There are some veterans around the community that are way more experienced than I am and I hope they can chime in to give a better worded explanation. Just hang in there and don't let the stinkies "regular cigs" call you back to them.
It will be a little tricky hoping the liquids you've ordered from US pass through Turkish customs. I live in Istanbul. Frankly, i'm so mad that i have to stick with the brands you've given.
we are lucky to have many many choices here in America,,,,,Congratulations on quitting smoking and welcome to ECF!
drink more water,,,,,,see if you can find a juice a bit higher in VG (70VG/30PG is what I use) and suck on some candy between. It will get better![]()
What are the VG and PG means? I'd like to investigate in the forum, but my english is poor, sorry.(this is google translate)
PG=Propelyne Glycol
VG=Vegetable Glycerine
they are the two main ingredients in most e juice (plus flavoring)
PG gives more flavor and throat hit
VG gives more vapor
but many people are sensitive to PG,,,,,,,,so a mix is what works for most people,,,,,the more sensitive to PG you are, the more VG you need in the mix. VG is thick though, and can clog your cartomizer or tank, so MOST people use some PG to thin it out.
Thank you for your answer.. I understand now
my english is not good. When writing reply to topics in difficulty. I use Translater from google sometimes. How to Write a private message? I want to call you .
You can always try to make your own juice. We in the US can buy vegetable glycerin (VG) in the drug stores, they're in the skin lotion aisle and is very inexpensive. Food flavoring is the same type as when you bake cakes, etc., and can be found in grocery stores, or you can order online from FlavorArt in Italy. You can dilute the VG with distilled water (it's the kind of water that doesn't have minerals). The nicotine juice may be harder to find for you, but you might be able to order online from the UK or somewhere in Europe. Do research in this forum in the do-it-yourself subforum ("diy") before you start mixing your own if you so decide.
I use this ejuice calculator when I mix my eliquid: E-Liquid Calculator - An easy way to mix your own E-Liquid
The itch in your throat may be the juice is high in PG or nicotine. Or, it may be that your clearomizers are not wicking well and you're getting dry hits. Keep searching ECF, it's a storehouse of information.
Your English is fine, and good luck to you!
