Welcome to ecf. Wow, I must be behind in researching new products because I haven't heard of one with voice control....If you feel adventurous and don't mind being the first to try something, go for it.

Maybe another member will come along that will be more of a help to you.

Welcome to ECF Natasha. Took a quick look at the Avenger the other night. Not an option I personally would find useful enough to pay for.. You might love it. Maybe wait for some feedback before putting your money on the table. Congrats for quitting and kudos to your brother for helping you get there.

Hi, welcome to ECF and I have (briefly) seen voice control activations on some mods. It's an interesting idea, not one I'm really into (I tend to talk out loud to myself from time to time, I don't consider voice activation a boon-- for me-- exactly and you will surely pay some sort of premium for being an early adopter of this new technology (which may or may not work out well).

However if it really interests you and you can afford it, I see no reason not to get it necessarily, especially if you think you'll find the voice function useful.... So, I see no reason not to buy one, if you get what I'm saying.

Welcome and glad you joined.
If money is not an issue, go for it. I kind of come down on the side of caution by letting other folks test new devices and "break" them in for me. If the new device gets a lot of positive feedback, I'll take a second look.

I personally don't see the benefit of voice control so I haven't really looked into it yet. Once more people have their say then I'll give it a look.
