Ok gang, So I finally decided to sign up and become an official member of ECF! Though I am new to posting I have been lurking around in the shadows for several months and peeeking through the windows reading as much as possible on everything from the latest in E-cig technology, product and vendor reviews, E-liqiud reviews....ect...ect.

I must say that this community is amazing! I have learned so much information that I could never have had I just surfed the web reading bias vendor reviews and getting much misleading information in my quest to totally research every aspect of vaoing as an alternative to analog smoking.

It has now been 3 months since I smoked my last analog cigarette and my lungs have never felt better!

To give you a brief background. I went from a 2 pack a day smoker to a little over a pack a day until I discovered my first E-cig which was a FUMA 2 piece design I purchased at a convience store in a small town in Ohio.

I was fortunate that my first experience was more than favorable. The FUMA brand E-Cig was actually not to bad for a beginner and based on other stories from friends whom tried Blue Cig, Smoke Tips and mall brands where their experiences were less than convincing to even bother trying the electronic technology. Most if not all of them eventually got discouraged and went back to analogs claiming e-cigs were just not effective enough to totally abstain from conventional smoking.

This type of negative feedback only encouraged me more to really explore the market and thus brought me to this very website! As a result I spent countless hours reading about other peoples success stories and learned that I had options that I never imagined possible that was offered here in the way of reputable vendors, inexpensive starter kits and better ways to get the most for your time and money simply by taking the iniciative to expand my mind into reading all I could on this forum litterally covering about each and every section.

To make a long story short and thus not bore any readers of my initial post I can say that I am the proud owner of over a half a dozen different personal vaping devices, including a passthrough as well an entire arsenol of tasty e-juices, hundreds of cartomizers, atomizers, drip tips and various types of batteries all for a fraction of what I could have paid had I been deterred by the many over priced vendors that seem to almost prey upon the uneducated consumer.

As a result of all my personal research on ECF and the helpful community of members here I now consider myself a step above novice standing as a vaping enthusiest, Enough so that when I eventually meet my minimum newbie posting requirement I am fully ready to unleash some of my personal experiences and reviews of some outstanding products I have come to give recognition for towards my ultimate success in totally abstaining from smoking forever!

I was a bit apprehensive at joining in the beginning as I felt I had nothing really to offer the community though later learned there is always questions popping up that despite my knowledge thus far there never really is a stupid question when it comes to gaining more insight into the world of vaping!

Rather than go on and on with may be trivial information to some...feel free to shoot some questions at me and I will do my best to give non long winded responses.

I am very excited about hopefully the possibility of someday offering my experiences to help other newbies in their questions and concerns as I once had when starting vaping for the first time and trying to choose the best devices that suit an indivivduals needs.

This has been a very positive turning point in my life andI never would have imagined I woulod one day become so emersed in something that has now become a hobby as well of an effective way for me to never go back to destroying my body with analogs again!

I'm still in the process of building my profile and haven't even added a picture or avatar as of this writing. Probs goes out to Grimm Green whom ultimately steered me to this website and invoked my interest in taking this learning experience to a whole other level!

Look for my upcoming reviews on Vendors I have had positive experiences with as well my exclusive review of Cig Easy"s Elegant Easy 750mAh KR808D-1 style PV device as well the more recently released Elegant Easy XXL 1300mAh model!

Thanks to all that took the time to read this small epic post and thanks in advance for any feedback on this particular thread!

Currently back in the gym and have resumed my intense cardio program thanks to my newfound endurance and increased lung capacity. I am a former massive heart attack survivor from 2006 and feel better than I did in my twenties!

Thanks for all those at ECF for making this website an intigral part of my achievement to a much healthier and happier lifestyle!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays folks! :)

Welcome SSV2. Great job on quitting the nasties, surviving the heart attack, getting hold of your life, and writing your intro piece. Grimm Green's videos were a major help to me too and I recommend anyone getting started google his reviews.

Even though you are a newly registered user, you've already led me to something new. . . I had never heard of "Cig Easy", so I checked out their website. Flip top soft cap cartomizers!!! Never saw those before! WOW! Price for blanks looks reasonable. Wonder if you've used these and have any feedback to share?

Look forward to reading more of your experiences! Congratulations, thank you, and welcome to ECF! :vapor:

Hello SSV2 and welcome to ECF! Will Pleasantville have a white Christmas this year? Snow is in our forecast here and I am excited as a 3-year-old. It's almost as exciting as getting a delivery in the mailbox but not quite.

It's great that you're joining to help guide the newbies along and I look forward to your reviews. I don't know where I've seen a warmer, more generous community and you have much to offer.

Happy Holidays!

Jeez! It is about time you stopped lurking & finally decided to join us here - out in the open. We've been watching you for a long time and waiting patiently for you to finally get around to posting. Thanks! And, congratulations on being analog free for the last 3 months.

Wow...Thank You all for the warm welcomes! I appreciate the responses to my initial post greatly. I am particularly honored to be greeted by banjo whom has been someone that has offered very helpful information based on many topics of interest to me over the past several months that I have been peeking through the windows at ECF!

I actually spent quite some time replying to TxMagic's inquiry in great detail and depth...Unfortunately in my obsessive compulsive need to format my final draft...I carelessly hit the wrong button in my exhausted state of mind and deleted everything! I probably sat staring at my monitor in disbelief over my error for what seemed like if I closed my eyes and opened them again..my original thought provoking insightful masterpiece would magically reappear unharmed and intact.....Yeah right!

Well....I had to get up for a while walk around chain vaping for several moments before I could come back and at least try to salvage my thoughts in a way as not to go into another epic post that actually resembled more of a product/supplier review :rules: which would have probably been deemed inappropiate for a newbie posting such a comprehensive response in a section intended for the purpose of introductions and not intensively scientific experimentations involving my experiences with variants in cartomizers.

Ok...So, once I am granted my privilages to post in other sections...follow me on over to the proctuct review section or Supplier reviews or whatever section is most suitable for my intensive purpose is to attempt to address TxMagic's questions properly and more condusive of explaining why, I mentioned this vendor and particularly my impressions specifically regarding my satisfaction with some of the mentioned product in contrast to other very similar products that I have for the sake of research have graciously purchased many varients of cartomizers in my quest to get suffient surplus for comparison and analysis.

So please be patient with the new guy here as I further attempt to provide hopefully some additional insight based on some of my own discoveries for this particular discussion.

In short...I have been enlightened by stepping up to what some may consider a premium cartomizer? If at anything; IMHO, I do believe that some of these products have indeed greatly improved my vaping experience enough to remark about it in a more concise manner so others can hopefully benefit from my expense through my many purchases and to offer some helpful feedback to anyone interested in the variables involved and most importantly providing others info on some products out there that deserve recognition for optimizing their vaping experience to the next level!

This was a great question and has further inspired me to address it in a format that will hopefully benefit other members as well save some people some time and money into deciding for themselves if the information I provide will ultimately give some clearer insight in future investments in the way of quality suppliers of vaping products as well eliminate a lot of the guess work out of the total equasion?

to be continued.........

Thanks again....Hope we can create further discussions!

Peace,
SSV2
