After over 40 years of at least one PAD of analogs, my wife read about e-cigs and convinced me to try them. I started looking around the web, and was quickly overwhelmed with the vast quantity of information. I decided to go to a local brick & mortar to talk to somebody and find the best way to get started. Googled for the local area, and found head shops. I hadn't been there in many years, but tried. Went to the biggest, and a kid my grandson's age showed me to the display and asked which one I wanted. He was clueless (and probably stoned) and of absolutely no assistance. I bought the cheapest starter they had, went to the car, opened and assembled, and tried my first vape. I was instantly sold on the whole concept, and knew that if this cheap version was good, there must be something better. I went back online with a lot more clarity, and found a store (E Cig City) less than an hour away. I know I am just beginning, but have a much better setup now, some juice to try (I would never have dreamed I would "smoke" frozen lime drops) and am looking at what comes next. I won't save any money for a while, but I don't feel guilty about second hand smoke any more.
