Unfortunately with new regulation in the U.S., China will be your best option by far. Heres a pretty good mod that's affordable and might be a good way to see if vaping is worth spending more money on.

Most of the non china mods are big dollars, so I recommend giving this a try. I never bought from any Vietnamese site before but this one does have 4.5 stars rating on google, and domestic shipping is faster than international. They might have a retail store in your area too.
Good luck and welcome to ecf!

Hi,
I had been smoking for 20 years. Now I smoke 1.5 packs / day and want to try e-cig.
Could you suggest me some brands / types. I'm total new to e-cig.
Note: I don't want to use China one.
Thanks.
Welcome....there are a lot of USA brands that ship worldwide. I know Mount Baker Vapor does and there are others. Everyone here will have good suggestions ! Good luck !

Thank you everyone.

I'm considering to buy:

+ vaporfi rocket 3 starter kit ($90).
Do you think this is OK?

+ 1 additional NI200 0.1 ohm atomizer ($18). How fast is the atomizer be consumed?

+ 30ml classic tobacco vape juice (70pg/30vg, 24mg nicotine, double shot - $16)
I really don't know what the single/double shot mean even after read the brief info pop-up at vaporfi's web site. Could you explain this?
Also, from a 1.5 pack/day smoker to e cig, how many days do you think I can vape with this 30ml?

Thank you!

Welcome to the world of vaping, thanhbv.

I don't know anything about the vaporfi except what I read on their web site, but it looks expensive for what it is. The "atomizers" cost too much; that coil will probably last a week or 2.

Consider a Provari. They are made in USA & have a very good reputation for durability & customer support.

Good luck. You'll feel a lot better vaping than smoking.

I agree with @KentA about the mod and coils being way too pricey for what you're getting. Provape has been around for a long time and have proven to be durable, reliable, high quality devices.
Also, I urge new vapers to stay away from ni200. It is a nickel coil that, if overheated, releases toxic gas. It can only be used in temperature control, and a lot of temperature control mods are not very accurate.
