Hi Guys

I've been vaping now for 8 months after smoking heavily for 11 years. I love it! I currently use the 'Socialites tank' ecig (socialiteszero.com but I'm hoping you guys can recommend something else?

This ecig works great for me, but they are pretty expensive with the running costs. This one I have cost £55 in a starter kit with one bottle of liquid, but have had to replace the battery twice (in effect, i've bought 3 batteries, totalling £98.. I also have to replace the clearomizers at £5 each.. (I'm now aware you can clean these and reuse, but haven't tried it yet!)

Which ecigs can you guys recommend? Something long term as i have absolutely NO wish to return to cigarettes. Not overly concerned about starter prices as long as it is cost effective. I am currently paying £10 for two bottles of Socialite 15ml eliquid. Eventually I'd like to learn how to start making this myself in bulk.

Did I talk too much?

Thanks guys!

Hello JJ
What I did was get 8 1300mah battery's from DHGate.com at a cost of $40.00 usd still have the ones (3) that I started with sold the others to pay for the ones I use lol
Ordered 30 T3 for $27.00 usd sold 7 to pay for them
Got 60 coil heads for $20.00 USD
So I'm good on what I need for the next year or so and made money to pay for my DIY supplies

Hi Harlen.

I've just been reading some of the other threads here - Didn't realise there were all these things you can do with an ecig! It's going to take me ages to learn all this lingo! haha.

I've been looking at the 'eVic' for a few weeks now and seem some fantastic reviews. I'm now thinking i'll just stick with what i've got until i learn more about DIY vaping. I better do some reading! haha.

Hey JJ. Know what you mean about all the lingo!!! I've been vaping for a year and still my head spins!! The market is also coming out with new gadgets regularly which makes it more difficult to keep up. I think part of the problem is many of us want different things from our vape. My wife likes smaller devices that give good flavor. I like larger devices that make clouds of smoke. Fortunately there are plenty of options out there. I just had to find one that fit me. Currently I'm into pipes. I like the feel of them in my hand. There are alot of cheap alternatives out there if you shop around. I try to never spend too much on a device I might get bored with.

Hi JJ.

Socialites got "busted" on AAEC today for the pricing. £98... that is terrible.

Have a look here, there is lots to see and choose from

Myepack.co.uk

I started on E-Lites and sunk WAY more money than you into them. I never even stopped smoking either.

I had an evic.... very bad move that, it lasted 5 months. (Another £99 down the drain...)

There is a large scene around the W Midlands, I am often in it, there are lots of things going on.

I've been vaping a while now, but still not saved any money. (Smoked rollies....)

This year is my year though..... I have enough mods and liquid to last a long time after the possible bans etc.
