HI,
I use Totally Wicked products. I've been vaping for the past 8-10 months. I currently use the regular tornado tank, but I'm looking to upgrade to the Mega. I already bought the 1000 Mah battery. Now I just new a couple Mega atomizers and some mega carts. I already bought the 1000 mah battery, and am going to buy the rest on my next order. My question is for anyone to is a TW user, Can I use the 1000 mah battery on the regular tornado atomizer? or will it screw it up? I guess that's my question in a nutshell :mail:. also if there are any FORMER TW users and found something better price wise please let me know. I spend about 200 a month at least on e-cig stuff. By the way, my name is Patrick and I'm from Pittsburgh PA, I hope to meet some of you. Have a good one all,
Patrick..........

The Tornado appears to be one of many eGo clones so what works on a smaller batt will work on the larger batt of the same brand. The mAh rating of the batt has little to do with what type of delivery system will work. The diameter will be the same, but the 1000 mAh is simply longer. It should work just fine.

HOWEVER...I strongly recommend you try this instead Ego Mega Dual Coil | Sweet-Vapes E-Liquid It's just as easy to refill as a tank, no leaks and better performance IMO. Sweet-Vapes will save you some money over time compared to Totally Wicked and I really like their juice as well.

Egos are 3.3-3.4V, the only difference between the different mah batteries is how long it will last before it needs to be charged.

TW stuff is just rebranded, and it's still an eGo. TW does overcharge on a lot of their products and you could prob get your stuff somewhere else for cheaper. Personally I would switch to cartomizers bc I think the ego tanks are a pain in the .... They can be very finicky and leak, and even when they are working fine they dull TH and flavor.
The Boge 2.0ohm cartos are very popular for the ego and they work well. Their are also different dual coil cartos you can use, like the EMDCCs mentioned above, but personally I think dual coils suck at lower voltages. Just because a carto has dual coils does not mean that it automatically is better. I think dual coils perform pretty poorly a lower voltages and especially on a 3.3-3.4V eGo. Their alittle better on h 3.7v Epower, but still nothing special. Dual coils on an eGo will give a cool vape and they drain your batteries a lot faster. I think a good single coil carto like the Boge 2.0ohm cartos or the 1.7ohm Ressurectors works a lot better than a dual coil on a 3.7V PV or 3.3-3.4V eGo. A single coil carto will provide a nice warm vape with good TH, and they won't drain your batteries even close to as fast.

The SLB KGO, which you can buy at Dark City Vapors or Hoosierecigsupply, has 1100mah batteries that are rated at 4.0 volts under load with a single coil cartomizer and 3.8v with a dual coil. They are the superior EGO style battery and even outperform some 18650s. There's a video on youtube that proves it. hoosierecigsupply.com 1100mAh eGo battery whips AW 18650 IMR - YouTube I'd go with a Dark City Vapors KGO though because they aren't branded with their store name, Bill keeps his storeroom supplied so he doesn't run out of stock, and his KGO starter kit comes with cartomizers instead of useless cartridges.
