Hello all.

Nice forum you have here.

I'm likely going to do GoodProphets.com peice-together-a-tank-kit (because there isn't a kit there yet)? I'm just wanting to ask them a question...but since it's my first post, I can't in their forum.

I'm just needing a complete package for the wife and I to get started (both analoguer's), so I'll get the following?

1 30mlVG-24CO 30ml - VG Liquid
VG based flavors: 24mg Coffee
2 TANKcart-B Empty Cartridges for eGo-T tank
Empty eGo-T tank Cartridge: Blue
2 eGoTANKatom-T eGo-T TANK Atomizer for Joye eGo
eGo-T TANK Atomizer color: Titanium
2 eGoUSBBatt-T Spare USB PT Battery for Joye eGo 650mah
eGo Battery Color: Titanium

Try to find this in kits if you can. This is a really expensive way to get an eGo T and you aren't getting everything you need. At the minimum, each vaper should have at least one back up battery and atomizer.

Also try to get a couple of different flavors of juice, in smaller size bottles if you can. I found a form on their website to submit questions here: https://www.shop.goodprophets.com/contactus.sc

I also found the kit for the eGo T from another ECF supplier here https://www.cignot.com/product_p/kit-egt-all.htm

What is the spare passthru battery for?? That is for a passthru (a wired vaping system which requires an AC to USB adapter with more power than a battery charger's ac to USB provides). I don't see a passthru or a passthru-capable ac-to-USB adapter in your list. Did you mean to get a spare normal battery?

And I am not familiar with good prophets VG but if you were planning on having good TH then you might want to order some other liquids now elsewhere. I use liquids around 70%pg/30%vg and sometimes 80pg/20vg

What a responsive community. Thanks all of you! I'd haphazardly thrown this ugly-formatted post up after being awake about 26 hours... cleaned it up a bit. But what responsiveness.

I obviously have much reading to do, I wanted to get as much of a tobacco flavor as possible (but didn't fine the 24mg on GP), getting the juice from the same supplier isn't necessary so I may look elsewhere, but heard GP had the best prices on the gear.

Aeric: 2 batteries each yeah? 4 total then? I kinda picked these from GP because I dig the fact you can charge while vaping yes, as well as this wouldn't seem to need a "spare in the charger at all times", yes / no? Thanks for the tip on the juice. I would like to get as close to a Winston analogue as possible...I have some reading to do.

ShannonS: thanks, I did try looking for kits, but not hard enough I guess...only found e-smokeytreats.com and they are Out of Stock... Thank You for your help!

dormouse: yeah, I didn't shop/study enough yet, but like the fact that these, one can plug in to USB, Vape & Charge at the same time? We both sit at computers so, we could just unplug when we roam... yes? I've got some AC -> USB adapters from other gadgets... BTW thanks for the tips on the liquid, I do want a good TH, and she will too. Need some juice that will gracefully bring us down off about pack-a-day Win$ton analogue smokers.

Well, as I often do, TL;DR my own ramblings but wanted to once again say thanks.

Hey Rachus,
Check out Freedom Flight for your kit, they have a 20% off button at the top of the page. Fast service too.
I was a winston smoker for years, no juice tastes that bad :) Try 555 or RY4, good flavor with undertones.
A buddy vapes Wyatt Earp from Freedomsmoke USA, smells great though I haven't tried it yet.
Happy Hunting

Thanks again everyone. Went with GP and got the following in addition to some 3ml samplers. I think all this is compatible and will get me vaping from what I've put together:

eGo-T TANK Atomizer for Joye eGo
Empty Cartridges for eGo-T TANK
Spare Cover/Cone for Joye eGo
Spare USB PT Battery for Joye eGo 650mah

OK
I'd consider looking around for some extra vg too, so you can thin it down if it's to strong for you. I bought 24mg and 16mg when I started thinking at a pack a day I'd be in the high range, and both were too much for me since I ended up vaping more often than I used to smoke. You lose some flavor but at least you can smoke it. You can buy a little bottle of wiltons at most craft stores in the baking section or at pharmacys just make sure its at least food grade. :)

Being responsive is the least we can do. Somebody did it for us when we got started!

You are on the right path already. You should've seen my first post :)

Welcome, Rachus!
It sure seems that you are doing your "homework" to try to get all that you need. Well done! I would suggest only two considerations. User reviews on the T-tank system have been mixed. It looks really good in principle, but not everyone has found that it works quite as they had hoped. You might want to get some regular 510 cartomizers to try just in case the t-tank isn't what you are looking for either.
Check: Empty GP510 Cartomizers for 510 or eGo

Atomizers and cartridges are another option, but most who prefer them modify the cartridges by changing out the filler, and that's a bit complex for a new user. Still, you might want to get a few cartomizers just in case.

I spent about 2 hours at Good Prophets today sampling different VG's. I picked up 18mg USA-Mix and a 24mg MintyChocolate - I've been mixing them 50/50 in an eGo-T with the translucent blue tanks. I'd advise picking up a syringe or two to ease in the filling. I only picked up a single passthrough battery and single cone atty but I'm taking a friend up to the shop on Friday and will probably pick up a spare atty just for a backup. Rob's got a lot of flavors on hand to sample and I was definitely feeling a little buzzed - I'm sure the coffee helped with that too. Nice guy and a lot of help. He gave me a sample of menthol which I've tried by just adding a few drops to the USA-Mix. I also liked the Hilton, Tobacco and Cherry Cigar.

Good Prophets delivered. Cheers to Rob at GP. Thanks heaps. My package arrived yesterday, I'm vaping right now. Fantastic performance so far, such an upgrade from my 2 - 3 year old "Mini Cigarette".

Notes:

Pass-through (PT) battery seems like it should be the de facto standard, it's just great to have the ability to charge and vape at the same time at your computer (we're all here at our keyboards anyway right? -- well unless you're mobile). I'm sure I'll lose the end cap for this battery, but it sure is sharp looking with it on.

Turns out I didn't need the atty cover, the tank atty I bought is the cover/atty... Just really need 4 things: battery, tank atty, empty tanks, and liquid.

Used Kristin's method to blow out the primer thoroughly, primed the atty needle with 2 drops, filled new tank to about 1/16th from the top, popped it in the atty until it clicked, twisted a full turn, 4 long drags to prime it (I was concerned about getting liquid in my mouth, but didn't), screwed on the PT battery (still connected to USB -- had it charging for about 30 minutes), and off I vaped.

I dove right into the 24mg Caramel Mocha from GP -- Great flavor, lots of vapor, and I haven't ready this from anyone here yet: same 'head rush' as an analogue -- I hadn't had one in about 2 hours. I think this is going to do it for both me and my wife...she takes her coffee all "creamed and sugared up" like a mikshake -- she's gonna dig on this flavor business.

Very happy with all the tips and information here. Thanks to the creators of this site and it's members.

I have a few extra parts that apparently came with one of the components I pieced together, or maybe they were accidently thrown in on my order? -- going to get with Rob to see if he wants them back.

Conclusion: so far so great. Just what everyone here is saying about the eGo-T tank system...hope it lasts for a while, but I'll buy more attys/batteries if needed.
