That's a toughie. I would say the vamo, just because there are more options tied with it, vv vw wise. However, since your relatively new to vaping, maybe the spinners are the better bet. I have only been doing it for 2 months or so,and I just upgraded to the spinners. I have 2 400 mah spinners and 2 redux clearomizers, and other than me killing the first to atomizer heads(my fault not the manufacturer), I would say it was a good purchase for me. I don't plan on uprgading until these die on me. If this is your first purchase,I would say the spinners from myvaporstore. The vamo is better imho, but as beginners, sometimes we need to start on something a little smaller, less bells and whistles. Kind of like having training wheels on a bike when your learning to ride. Just my 2 cents of course. Maybe others in the forum would have more informed opinions on what is better. I think though that sometimes less can be more.

Either choice you make, congrats on making the switch. Anything to get off the analogs is a great step.:toast:

Well after sleeping on it and once again re- reading the posts here ( yeah I do that to make sure I didn't miss anything) I've decided to go with the spinner kit. It's only 69.95 and that seems like a good price to get started. The Vamo is a great set up, I've read nothing but good reports about it, but as others have pointed out it may be a bit much for me to digest. This is what I'm going with as of right now:

Spinner/Twist Ego VV tank combo with:
3x 1300mah vision spinner batteries
3x Kanger EVOD Ego Clearomizers
1 50ml eliquid smooth tobacco
3x 2.4 ohm atomizer head for EVOD
Ce2 syringe refill kit

The total comes out to $128.79 before shipping. That's just about at my limit. If you guys would be so kind enough as to comment on my choice and making suggestions I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again for all of your help. It means a lot to me.

If it makes it any easier, I had actually bookmarked the exact same kit from myvaporstore. :D I didn't wind up buying it only because I was looking for a slightly smaller battery. Great minds think alike ;) Seriously though, I would say that is a good choice. Hope you like the tobacco juice, that's alot at once :)

http://www.vaporrater.com/images/Safe Vaping Chart.jpg this chart may help when you get your stuff in. I had inadvertently used too high a voltage and burned out 2 atomizer heads before figuring out my voltage was too high. Thanks to Ryedan for showing me this. Hope you enjoy your new toys :toast:

Great. What you have there is basically the same as I have. (Well, I don't have 3 Spinners....but I have other stuff)

One thought though? Are you sure you want to order 50ml of one flavour e-liquid......?
might be better to get a few small bottles first.

Thanks for the support guys. I think the 50 ml will be ok. If I'm not crazy about it I'll try another one after its gone. But it got some really good reviews so that's why I ordered so much.

Thanks for the chart, but how do I use it? My set up is only voltage regulated I think so where would I set it once it shows up?

Thanks again guys. I'll let you know when I order the kit and when I get it.

50 ml is a lot of juice of one flavor, especially if you've never tried it before. What if you can't stand it? Good reviews or not, taste in flavors is so subjective from one person to the next.

Boba's Bounty is one of the most popular flavors, and I can hardly stand it. I once used Copper Creek's House Blend as an all day vape. I bought 120 ml of it, and soon after developed a distaste for it. I ended up trading it off for a gift certificate to my favorite juice vendor with another ECF member.

You can use the Safe Vaping Power Chart in a couple of ways. Find the resistance of your delivery device on the left column, and then find the appropriate watts to use with it in the green section. The appropriate voltage will be at the top of the chart. Or, find the voltage range of your PV at the top of the chart, gaze down at the green section of blocks, then follow that section to the left to find the resistance you should use for that range. Typically, the range of a Twist or Spinner will be 3.4v - 5.0v, so a 2.5 - 3.0 ohm delivery device works best.

Or, you can just start out with a lower voltage and increase it in small increments until you notice a burnt taste, and then back down the voltage a couple of notches without using the chart. The chart is meant to be a general guideline.

The idea of variable voltage is having the option to adjust your voltage to the particular flavor you are using. Each flavor may taste better at a different voltage.

The following article was written by the guy who designed the original chart:

Best to heed Bad's advice...
When I first began vaping I bought 30 wide ranging samples. Out of those 30 I liked 10. Immediately ordered another 20 and out of those I liked 10…so out 50 different flavors I enjoyed 20. Months later I tried those 30 samples that I disliked and enjoyed all but one. Whether it was because my tastes had changed or they needed steeping I don’t know. Realize also "same name" juices will vary greatly in taste from vendor to vendor as they all have diff recipes and order ingredients from diff Suppliers.
If I had bought 30 ml bottles I would have spent about $1000.00. As it was my total for the samples came to $200.00. Worse than the $$ spent is the frustration experienced by many new vapers buying full size bottles. I've always believed the toughest part of vaping is finding the right juice.

Good advice, Vapoor. :thumb: Same experience here.

Our tastes change over time. We all have Vapor's Tongue when we start out vaping. Our taste buds have been damaged from years of smoking. As they heal, we begin to taste flavors differently. What we liked early on, we can't stand later. What we disliked early on, we find that we may like it once we revisit it a couple of months down the line.

Vapor's Tongue can also re-occur at any point in time. Luckily, it only lasts for a couple days. Vaping the same flavor continuously can cause flavor oversaturation. That's why I no longer believe in the popular concept of an "all day vape".

I typically use 3 -4 flavors in any given day, and have at least of dozen flavors available to me at any given time. Of course, I've collected such a large flavor collection over a year's time. I don't even want to consider how many flavors and vendors I've gone through to finally find the ones that I now order on a regular basis. I've been able to cut down my choice of vendors down to three that I have found to make consistantly good flavors that I wish to use on a regular basis.

Some juices also benefit from 1-2 weeks of steeping. That's another subject in of itself.

Hi! My name is Danny. I'm looking into buying an e cig but I'm unsure which one to buy. Money is of no concern. I've been looking into the blu e cig 100 for $89. Is this a good choice or are there better options? Thanks for all of your help in advance.

If you did buy yourself a blu kit it wouldn't be long before you'd be looking for something better.

In this thread you've been given the advice i would have given you. Ego batteries are the most popular. And currently any kanger bottom coil devices are satisfying a lot of people. You will find satisfaction with this stuff until you want to progress to a mod

You may also want to consider adding a 510 atomizer for testing new juices- easy to clean, drip 2-3 drops on the element and vape. If you don't like the juice easy to burn off excess rather than having to wash a tank.

I actually own both Twist and Spinners and prefer the Spinners cuz the dial is knurled and easier to turn, visible voltage markings and long battery life. Usually 100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping but when vaping at a higher voltage the batts drain quicker.

Ok it's been suggested to me that 50mL of one kind of juice is to much and that I should get a variety. So I'm asking for you help again. What the best place to shop for juice? The most consistent that you've found? Also, I know it's subjective but maybe you guys can suggest some good tobacco flavors to try. I smoked anout 2 packs of Marlboro just about every day. I'm looking for at least 24mgs of nicotine and a sweet tobacco or a smokey flavor. Thanks again for all of your help. You guys have really helped me out.
