I'v been vaping since October of 2011 and have never looked back. I smoked for many years (I hate to even admit how long) and was always saying "I'm going to quit when..." which never seemed to happen. My husband was just sure I was going to end up with lung cancer or pushing an oxygen tank around. My doctor, at my last physical, tested my lung capacity. I was told I was only able to use about 60 percent. :(

My first e-cig was the Firelight brand and it worked so well that I quit smoking and started vaping exclusively from day one. My friends and family just could not believe it and were so thrilled. After a couple of weeks, I bought a Joye 510 and I still like and use that model with the mega battery, various attys and drip tips. I love dripping and am still looking for the best e-juice I can find. I've been trying many suppliers and am finding the ones I like best.

Anyway, I have spent many hours reading posts and decided to join this forum. I enjoy it very much and have learned a lot too. I look forward to spending many more hours on here too and meeting new friends.

Welcome out of lurk-ville. I just posted for the first time within the last hour, but have been a spectator since last spring. This group is phenomenal. I learn so many new things each day, or am reminded of things I forgot about.

With the grace of the angels, you hopefully stopped in time so that your lungs can renew and restore capacity again.

I know my lung capacity has majorly improved, and my doctor said I should live to a ripe old age because of my decision 18 months ago.

This is a wonderful lifestyle. New toys, new yummies -- life keeps getting better.

Thank you and now I feel new because what happened to my pet dog in my profile picture? It is not showing up here, but shows up in my profile. Ugh.

Looks like your banner is your avatar. You want your dog pic to be your avatar, not your profile pic. That might be the solution.

My avatar showed up with my first post.

No problem and all of us were a noob at first. You only need a few more posts. Then you will be able to have a proper avatar and the ability to post anywhere you want. So, you won't be limited to this section anymore.

Welcome to you too. I love your profile picture. Is that your fur baby?

Thanks.

Yes, that is one of my fur babies. I have another fur baby just like that one (both Yorkie boys), and a meow fur baby boy. One day, I might be able to finally get a picture of all three, and make that my new avatar. One always decides he is no longer a camera-ham.

Can't wait to see your baby up as yours.

Welcome Kimmie. We all have gone through the noob stage...and I'm still in it. Just because I've been vaping for over a year doesn't make me or anyone else an expert at it. We can only pass along suggestions and recommendations based on what we like. But that also doesn't mean you will. I'm glad to hear you made the switch over for a healthier way to feed your addiction. If you need help, yell out and don't lurk anymore. There are a great group on people on here that will help you. Most of us have been there...done that and will help you along. (I'm getting sleepy and I think I repeated myself...LOL.) Wow I need to go to bed. If you need anything, shoot me a PM when you get your 5 posts. If I don't know the answer, I'll find it for you or at least send you to someone who does.
